We offer money back refund to all subscribers and just now one of the paid subscriber cancel their subscription from the user account. How do we receive a notification or email when some of our user cancel their paid subscription.....? At last this user has to send an email to remind us, (pretty embarrassing).

Hi, We're beginning to face people using our graphic ressources to their own purpose without authorization. In order to make our images less attractive to those people, I'm looking for a way to put our logo into all the pictures hosted by the community (watermark). I've not found a standard option to do that, so there is maybe some trick to perform it (a daily cron for example ?) or a plug-in ? Thankyou for your help, Regards, Z

Hi I just bought and started looking at Pages. I have the default setup with the articles database, and one article. Now, I would like to layout the article itself a little bit better. Help the user align pictures and text and stuff. Better readability as we do have some quite long articles. I thought I maybe let them use the Table plugin to ckeditor. Tried that but, need the TableTools plugin as well to get right click contect menu to edit the table after creation. Did not get the right click menu, so I may have done something wrong there. Added the tabletools as Toolbar button, which may be wrong? Anyway, how should we go about giving the user a little bit bet…

Hi all, I currently have 2 subscription plans. Both offer the same thing, but the older subscription has been disabled due to some issues with PayPal. How can I merge/move subscribers from one plan to the other without resetting the subscription time? In hindsight I should have just rebranded the original plan, but oh well.

We have a special need where we need to segregate users into 4 segments and each segment should have 3 subscription options. Showing 12 subscription in one page is confusing and overwhelming. So I am looking for a way to have subscription link that we can embed in a button and it fires to checkout page with invoice creation at backend. Hope it's possible? Thanks in advance.

Can the invision default names for various sections can be changed? i.e. rather than 'Subscriptions' & 'Forums' i'd like the word forums to be replaced everywhere it's used / appears, is that something we can change in global settings? Has anyone got info how to do this? Many Thanks

I have a business idea, which involves using a database which could conceivably grow to hundreds of thousands (and who knows - maybe millions down the line!) of entries (which would be only text and simple markup, e.g. bold, italics, etc). Is there anyone out there who uses the native Invision DB for large amounts of data? If so, do you / at what point have you experience(d) slower site operation and DB access? I'm currently debating whether to embed my business project in my existing Invision framework/DB or to begin with an independent mySQL database/website and go from there. Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer their experiences!

Hello, I want to have closed forum only for clients of my company. Is it possible to give access users for a period like maybe code and after then use code they have 3 months access? After this period (3 months) they need new code and when period is over they use new code to extend access to forum? Thank for help Marek

Is there a way to let users set their own secondary groups? We're using Automated Rules to accomplish this at the moment, but it's not a very good work around, and having this be in the Settings area would be more convenient than on the Edit Profile pages. Cheers!

Hi there I can only get the promotion buttons for Facebook, Twitter etc. to show in my non-password section of the forum it seems. I have set permissions in every forum, but latest try was to copy settings from the forum it works in and pasted it to all forums. As it works in parts of the forum I must have done something right, but would like to be able to share post to FB from all threads if possible. Any help appreciated

My community uses a lot of 3 letter abbreviations in posts. If I do a search, for example "ECM", there are no results for my search even though I know the ECM has been used in dozens of posts. Is there a setting I need to change to allow searches 3 characters in length? Thanks for your help.

How do I get attached images to display larger than 1,200px? Nothing I have tried seems to work. I have displayed images set at 2,000px but when I add and image to a blog or forum post they only display at 1,200px.

I've been trying to get images to appear larger than 1,200px in forum and blog posts but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it, even if you change the dimensions in the ACP Post Settings. If you double click on an image while composing a post and change the dimensions it reverts to the default size of 1,200px when you save the post. I have tried doing this with both Safari and Chrome, the results are the same.

I sold an ad on my forum, and the ad has ended. It was set to automatically renew every month, and to stop it I had them cancel it on the PayPal side. I know it won't go through but I would like to be able to stop it from my side, and prevent an invoice from even going out and stopping it from trying to take a payment before the ad expires.

I'm planning to update in a short while. I thought I remembered that update notices on the forum itself would be disabled when being closed, was fixed in version 4.4.4: However, maybe I misunderstood the kind of fix here. I thought once dismissed it won't reappear, but maybe I'm wrong? I can close them, but either tomorrow or the day after, it appears again which is really annoying. I don't mind this happening in the admin panel, maybe a good thing there. But not on the forums themselfs. It this working as designed? I searched and couldn't find anywhere to explain how I might customize my login page to include instructions for logging in. Where would I customize what appears on that page? In particular, when the login page is loaded inside an embedded mobile browser (like inside an email app's browser), the login hamburger menu (three lines in upper right corner) doesn't always appear, so I'd like to include instructions for less tech-savvy folks. I just discovered my moderator has created a topic and soft-deleted it. Is there a way to see this in the thread list? I thought this was visible as being a thread in another background colour. But I don't see it in the threadlist from that forum. However, the thread contains a link with a name. If I'm in that forum and do a search in that forum for that name, I can view the thread and it has another background colour. But it would be nice if soft-deleted threads are visible (at least for admins) in the threadlist. I don't see anything, not even some mark that there is a deleted toic. Deleted post was created 8 hours ago, nothing to be seen here…

I ask this for a friend of mine who can not write English very well. He would like to release some things he made himself, via the download section of his forums, or via another way, but users have to pay a little amount for his work. Now he could buy Commerce, but he does not have a lot of money and Commerce has lots of options he doesn't even need. So he's looking for a cheaper alternative than Commerce, so he can sell his files the way it's done in the Marketplace here, or via his downloadsection. It would be nice if payments could be done via Paypal. Is there an exising addon or extension here on Invision or maybe on a trustworthy other site?

I want to mass delete accounts that meet a few criteria: 1) haven't logged in for X number of days, 2) have uploaded no content, and 3) have no profile picture uploaded (this last one is not required but would be a useful option). I'm trying to clean up my members list of empty accounts. Is there a way to do this in the admincp? Or is there an application or plugin available that can do it?

Elasticsearch is offering a 14 day trial. How do I configure my IPS4 site? I tried inputting the elasticsearch server url but it says cannot connect. Would be nice for some detailed instructions on how to take advantage of this trial period. https://www.elastic.co/cloud/elasticsearch-service/signup

Hello, With IPS Download app, is it possible to: Display automatically the hash of the file to download (sha1, md5...) ? Or define a custom field to set the hash on the file download page? Set an external url (like mediafire) to download the file when clicking on Download button? Or the file have to be available only in local? Thanks.
