borangeatx Posted April 14, 2020 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I love the ease of the pages databases and want to purchase another license for another site but want to know if its has the capability of adding (numerically) fields from entries? For example, if I am creating a database of football players and want a separate entry for each year of their statistics, will pages allow for a "totaling" of the statistics? If a quarterback passes for 3000 yards in the year 1998 and 2000 yards in 1999 and 1500 yards in the year 2000, is there a way to have the total of 6500 yards appear on the records listing page via pages functionality? opentype Posted April 14, 2020 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Nothing like that exists a stock option, but it should be no problem to have a developer write a little plugin for this. By the way: you probably don’t want the record listing template to do live calculations across many records. That will easily break the site.
