So, I just converted over to IPB from MyBB with over 7000 members. On MyBB I had a plugin that offered members to upload an attachment to a post or PM using ImgBB photo hosting so the attachment never hit their allowed allowance. IPB doesn't seem to have this so I need to figure out how much allowance to give members so they can freely upload but I don't want to kill my server either! I do have several paid member levels that offer more upload space and PM storage as perks so I need to make the allowances higher in increments for the user levels. In our site, we have renamed decline to manage as we can differentiate from members joining vs managing the event. During the process (I think) we have hidden MAYBE tab (somehow). Appreciate if someone can help in unhiding that MAYBE tab as we need to rename that tab to WAITLIST now Hope this MAYBE (Or WAITLIST) still functions once RSVP hits the ceiling, as that's the whole idea to record the waitlist once drives are full.

Hello, Can you explain to me what I need to do to properly configure SendGrid. I have already activated it in the PCA and entered the API key. But after ? Hello everybody, I am facing at least two display concerns in the CPA. No graphics in the Dashboard, the Add button no longer works, see attached screenshot. Like, if I wanted the first 1,000 people who joint and post to be called "Founding Members" and have that appear under their name, how would I do it? I assume I create a new group and then somehow add them to the group? Is there a way to automatically assign the first X number of signups to the group? I realize these are probably a dumb/obvious questions... but I really have no idea what I'm doing. It's better for website loading if I can put multiple images in 1 single directory. At this moment the "wordpress style" file storage (as I call it) is used. So I can change from for example /upload to /images or whatever I want to store, but in that directory IPS will still create Monthly directory's. Which is just what I don't want for certain things. Isn't it possible to disable the creation of this Monthly directory's somehow so I get certain things just together in 1 directory like I want?

Does anybody know how to avoid that guests are not allowed to send support tickets in the commerce modul ? I see that you can limit it to members who have choosen a subscription package - but I would like to have everybody expect guest to make a support ticket. Thanks for your help in forward. HP

I think one of the best features that IPS has in terms of "putting community created content center stage" is the "Copy to database" feature found in threads: screenshot from recent blogpost What this does, is take the opening post and make it into an article in pages, and then you have a checkbox that if checked, will copy all the comments in the thread to comments in the article. basically "reversing" the "open thread" feature that we have when publishing an article. I'm really interested in anyone thoughts on how to use the current Calendar application in better ways so it becomes more fluid and dynamic. From a gaming perspective, meet ups and Looking For Groups (LFGs) are huge and i'm seeing people struggle with checking out the events I put up via the Calendar because it is gives a very robotic and slow feeling when it comes to things like the latest apps and integrations you can get with things such as Discord. I know there will be products that will do events better in different ways so i'm trying to find the angle that I can promote why we should use IPS Calendar events rather than splinter the community on a 3rd party app.…

Look how many tasks are stacking up trying to send emails to everyone subscribed to the topic. This is why I get comments that folks don't get registration emails. Server tasks are staked a mile long. Is there some way to do this better? Slow it down? or coalesce it or something? Maybe only shoot notifications 1 time per day per topic? Thank you in advance

Hey guys, I am trying to link to a specific section of the guidelines instead of members scrolling through them all etc. I have named the header of the section but when trying to add the link to the URL box shown here, the # bit disappears and it just ends up linking to the top of the guidelines page instead of halfway down it. Can this be done on the guidelines bit or do I need pages to make this work?

A couple of things. I am using custom made images for a advertisement. I created an image for Desktop and one for Mobile. I set them for each. I must say, being able to apply different size images for different device screen sizes is very nice, and it works perfectly. I grabbed the corner of my desktop window and started scaling it down, and the image changes to the mobile version just as it should.
