IPS4 introduced image proxying for user-generated content, which avoids potentially-insecure hotlinking, and also mixed content issues on HTTPS sites. I've noticed though that, on boards upgraded from 3.x, legacy content (pre-IPS4 posts, signatures etc) is unchanged and still hotlinks from other sites. Is there a good method of getting the old content to use the proxy?

I have an urgent issue that had a support ticket submitted May 30th. I paid for "priority" support. I have seen the status of my request marked as "in progress" for quite some time now. I am wondering, is it really being worked on or did it fall through the cracks? I am afraid to bump the support thread as I think it might place me in the back of the line. Anyone have a similar experience? What is a normal wait time? Thank you ?

I've recently upgraded a board from 3.4.8 to 4.3.3 and there are obviously significant changes, more so in the ACP than in the user area. Under 3.4.8, I had customised the way deleted members were displayed, but only using built-in ACP functionality. I didn't buy any external plug-ins or hack any files. I just cannot seem to find those settings in 4.3.3, and the settings appear to have been reset, prefixing Guest in front of the username instead of bracketing it as I had.

How does Our Picks work with emails? I know that they are added to the bottom of standard emails that go out but I would like to allow my members to choose from the following subscriptions: Daily Weekly Monthly Those "newsletters" would show the Our Picks that have been added for the day, week, or month. How do I do this? I receive newsletters from IPS that are just like the formatting I am looking for.

Hey I don't mean to blow up your forums with a few threads, and I'm trying to genuinely solve these problems before I come here, but this one has be stumped a bit. I'm creating a rest api for the site to use, and I can't seem to get the /core/hello to work let alone anything else. I've setup the key as such. I understand that you could make a copy of the theme, make it admins only, change to that theme and refresh the page every time you add something. That's beyond tedious though? Is there a way to have a live preview when editing themes?

Being in UAE, we are left with very limited payment processor who deals in AED. One of the Payment processor is Paytabs and wondering how I can add them in the IPB backend Payment Method apart from Strpe, 2checkout, Paypal etc. Please help in setting this up. Don't want to bother technical support with this question, so I'm posting it here... So I purchased the IPS community, let's say Forums + Blogs + Gallery... It's all installed and works great. Then I purchased the Pages application. How do I add it to my community? It must be something really simple, but I can't find an answer. In my client area I can download the entire community only, but not a separate application. I assume that it must include the Pages application at this point, but that still doesn't answer the question how exactly do I upload just that application...

When I was opening the discussion forum for ads, the ads from advertisers came quickly. I ended up with 6 advertisers wanting to place ads on the discussion board. To accomdate the advertisers, I added a table with 2 rows and 3 columns. It works great on a desktop view but it doesn't work on mobile. Some of my advertisers have been with me for years so I want to keep them happy. My discussion forum is here: http://www.wifcon.com/discussion/index.php The ads are all 335 pixels x 100 pixels. Finally I have migrated my vBulletin to IPS. Now I am in the process of giving forum permissions. I see some topics with username Guest xxx where it should be only xxx and some topics give an error when clicking on it We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2S136/V And some images were not right embedded, also URL's are not embedded right. That's because all is index processed now in the background? Or went something wrong? Thanks.

I want to use my Forum Login System to allow my Desktop App to login with Forum Logins. This way users Register on my Forum, Download my App, Login to my App with their Forum Username/Email and Password and they automatically get logged in. I created an article in a shop with two custom fields, one field to upload an image, other field to submit a URL. My question now is, in the acp under transactions I can only view the buyers information but not the values of the custom fields. Where can I find the field values? Thanks.

We're getting an error 'Error code: 2S136/V' when viewing topics. Is there a way to enabling more verbose/detailed errors, it feels a bit like a secret code at the moment and I'm not quite sure the benefit of having that setup. Or is there somewhere I can look this up?

Is there a way to see users who have the same 2FA device? Similar to devices used, except specific for 2FA. If someone gets banned, makes a new accounts and re-enables 2FA, I'd like to be able to see that (or even a setting to make that not able to happen) Am I able to do either of those? Thanks
