Was asking if there is a way to enable email notifications to admin when someone posts on forum. ( Just wanted to make sure that we have one place where we can check without logging into forum that someone posted so we could reply to same in case we didn't login to forum )
Also for notifications to users on forum as well e.g. there is 'Holiday Closure Read more...' on the pages in easy way.
1. Change the notification preferences for all admins. Log into each account, go to Account Settings, click on Notification settings. Make sure admins receive email.
2. Yes, use Announcements. Go to Moderator Control Panel > Announcements. You can choose color, locations, etc.
