Hello! Please add an opportunity to create menu items for applications in Pages app (as in 3.4). It's very, very, VERY important for large websites. Reasons: I need to reorder any menu items (databases and applications) and create submenus with both databases and application.I need to highlight current pages. I cannot do this if I add applications in menu or submenu as a simple link.In 3.4 version this functional were a very useful. I hope you add this functional as soon as possible.

When you flag as spammer a user - and the rules are to hide / delete - this should also force refresh all cached blocks so offending items are not visible some areas of the site (VNC) i still seem to see content from a spammer - even though the rules was to be hidden. the times were not <pink>.

Hello, i know xenforo use some privacy feature for member's profile. Why don't add something like that for IPS ? when we see a profile every member can see every post of every member but some of people don't want to let some informations free to everyone. I know we can limite the visibility of profile in the ACP according to groups. But it is maybe not very efficient as we remove a feature for everyone. It could be bery useful to add something to improve privacy for each member and avoid to let a entire group have exactly the same permissions.

So, at first I was a big fan of the one-by-one approval in the Approval Queue. It's nice and modern. Fine. But yesterday, I had 130+ IP.Gallery images that had to be approved and I had to go through ONE by ONE to approve. I gave up after the eight image. It's way too inefficient for large-scale moderation. Either let me approve all posts in a topic and all images in an album, or list it out in a table view and let me batch approve ALL.

Can you resolve in future versions of your products the compatibility issue of the old hooks and addons? This is the main reason I don't want to upgrade to the latest version of the your products. I have lots of hooks/modifications some purchased,others free.Some of the hooks are not being developed/updated anymore and this will be a huge lost in my board functionality, not mentioning skins. So,instead of developing new versions maybe you can think first for a system that can support also old versions of hooks/addons etc. Kind regards!

As title. It is not intuitive at all. I know theres a big app there somewhere - costing USD 75 - that could replace my social groups app - but it is not easy to find. Also: The free ones, the most downloaded ones and the featured ones are on the frontpage - but to find the really big apps in this jungle is difficult. So my feedback is that you should improve the markedplace so that we - the customers - can find the good stuff easy.

We should at least have the option to include these. They are full-featured now since you added the full editor and attachment ability, they are basically forum/blog type posts made directly from their page. It is content and should be in New Content and Activity Stream. Thanks

Just wondering, why aren't general and responsive css files merged into one? Every IPS page loads at least 6 css files + custom which gives all sites a worse Google Pagespeed rank when it could be just 3.

Even though I am having some issues right now, I want to say that IPB software is pretty amazing... Like others I was orphaned by UBBthreads (they are sill alive, a couple of members are trying to give it life support) Have a number of other forums software, this is so much deeper.. I do wish they had an upgrade path like simple machines, where you tell it to do the upgrade and it does it all, after it checks files... so simple to install. Even with that, IPB is just the BEST.

IPS 4 now supports RTL text which is I guess great for some users but I don't like how the CSS is now (probably) 1.5x larger because of this. What's the point of CSS carrying styles for both? Wouldn't it make more sense to have two default themes with different CSS styles, for RTL and LTR users?

Hi, In IP.content 2.3.x, I use a lot of field "Database Relationship" in my databases. (and I use this too in complement) I upgrade my test forum to Suite 4.0.0, and I see that my fields "Database Relationship" were deleted... I try to re create it, and there are not present ??? Have you remove this ?

Good folks, We're four versions into the fully supported IPS 4 launch, and the backlog of pending errors have exceeded 5000 reports. Many more bugs are reported than those that are fixed, and IPS is building a tremendous load of technical debt. While some of these reports may not be errors, or may be handled through support tickets, it is fair to say that the backlog is overwhelming, and it's growing every day. Technical debt is just like any other debt; it gets worse if it isn't paid off in a timely manner. Right now, the IPS debt is growing at an unsettling rate, and it is not sustainable in the long run. The technical debt is a show-stopper for me. Installing software …

In this post Joel posted 99 images of cats, nice cute, but I have small problem I think that can be improve in IP.Board. Why not put the images side by side maybe in the grid of three so as I don't have a conga line to scroll through on post that is pretty long as it is with the images. Is there a way to address the length of images if we choose to have images attachments on a board?

Hello, I wish there was an option for the Gallery Animated hook of the Recent Images not to be animated. The animation attracts too much of attention and I feel it is distruptive for our members. I would like to keep it without animation though, it is very nice and useful hook..

Hey, I work for a company that uses IPS (which is why I'm not a client) and we're ready to start working on updating our custom applications. When I try to enable IN_DEV in init.php, the site just errors on every page. Is dev mode not finished or am I overlooking something?

In IPS4, is there a way to specify the "Content Type" someone can search for? Otherwise, it would be a welcome addition. Ideally this would disable the ability to search by that "content type" completely, in other words, not even allow them to enter a customized URL to bypass the user interface such as 'search/&q=peter&type=core_members' Thanks

I don't know what ips is going to do for the next updates but privacy management really need to updated because we can't (admin or members) really managed how to deal with our informations. For instance, activity stream is very privacy killing, we can avoid to show it if we remove access to profile but profile is an important part of a forum so we can't desable something without disable something else we don't want to. etc... Please add or do something about it, privacy is surely the biggest part about what a forum is better than a social network. Thanks !

let customers allow download just 1 version older because in my situation i have upgrade bug on 4.0.5 and takes time for staff to review this issue so while waiting my site is almost nonfunctional. so in my situation i wished i could download 4.0.4 on customer area and minmize my sites downtime as much as possible.

Very nice system you have set-up in IPS V4. Is there a way to keep the person being warned from being told the specific moderator/admin who issued the warning? If not, there should be. Many of our moderators won't use it if folks will blame them specifically rather than the system they are enforcing.

I get this type of an error several times a day, yes I visit here a lot. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /var/www/html/system/Db/Select.php on line 424 If I simply refresh the page, the post will load.
