I created from my source code 4.1.0 beta2 an html. In this html I changed the CSS and JS files from source links on this page here. Only Custom css mine. Loading Framework css before JS and JS before the /body tag. This works Here result and GTmetrix Maybe use, thus effectively CSS and JS idea is to develop?

every time i see a broken avatar/photo image not sure why it does perhaps they were being referenced? is there a way to add to some cleanup task to auto remove broken images if they fail a test after x iterations, and use the "default" avatar?

Is there a way to change the application menus items in combination with pages menus? An example is I use pages as a home page and I also use articles but I would like articles farther down the menus. I got the part about moving around the application menus and pages having a parent but I haven't figured out how to separate the pages menu in combination with the application menus. Would be nice if you don't have the chat showing as a main menu item but use the block to have it invisible if nobody is in there

If a user deselects the default (which could happen by mistake and then the user may never know about the shortcuts), the shortcut on the right disappears on full, and on mobile, the activity icon completely disappears leaving you to dig deep into the menu to find streams. The shortcuts should never disappear, and if there is no default selected should use All Activity. There's ways to go about it. Either do not allow a user to not have a default, as in, remove "deselection" and only allow selection, so they are always changing by adding not removing. hello, i use ip.pages extensively in all my sites and since ips4 was release until today the ip.pages do not have date-time field type and it's really important in all sites and super important to me the only field we get is date only field if IP team can improve it to include few options like date only date-time time only ip.pages can support such fields but limited only to Publish Date and Expiry Date fields also add the ability to insert extra options for any fields for advance usage like inserting data-somthing attribute to specific fields so it will be easy to manipulate it via javascript plugin

Mandrill works fine for mass mailing... but there is a new product, a lot cheaper and with the same versatility: statitics, subscribes/unsubscribes, user locations.. etc.. Sendy is built to work with any email sending provider as long as it has a username, password and smtp access, altghough it is perfectly integrated with Amazon SES service and it has great statistics, to me, more easily readable than from mandrill. Is there a gallery embed button for the editor for the IPS gallery? I know a competitor's script has that ability for their provided gallery add-on to add an embed button directly to the editor toolbar. When you click on the Embed option, this shows up (on the script I'm using as an example) Simple, clean and easy for the end user to use. If these are all supposed to be smooth flowing applications that are bundled to work together, why is something as simple as this not there? I´m running a site that sells Digital Images. I like the way gallery does and resize the source file, and adjust our own size in setting. We talking about 10 000 to 20 000 images. Is there any plan to this in Downloads? The way I have to do now is resize all preview images all the time. Would be perfect to let Downloads do this work for us.

Hello, It would be great if somebody was willing to create a hook for IP.Board 4 that once installed, when you enter url links in the post editor it automatically makes them non clickable by wrapping them in code tag for you. With an option in the hook settings, it gives you the option of excluding the url links from the board itself but will wrapping them in code tag if they are external links leading away from your board.

Why is the start new topic button after the topics listing? Wouldn't it be better to have it at the top of the page before listing the topics? And also in phone view, there's no button to add a new article to pages from the main database page. I have to get into a category, and then there's a button to add a new one to the current category, again, at the bottom of the page after listing the articles. Maybe the phone menu needs a button to create content, just like the desktop view one.

The streams have grown on me but one thing my members will miss is one-click VNC. Now, on the main site, you click and it shows All Activity and the sub-menus. So members that use other streams will have to click too many times. Yes I am sure we can create another main tab with a popular stream but still, members will have their own favorites. My suggestion is. 1. Allow members to save ONE stream as a new main tab. As admins we can define where this tab goes. This way they have a one-click VNC or whatever they choose as their main stream. 2. Also, on mobile, it currently takes two clicks to view the main activity because the click only brings up the menu so ther…

hi! someone Know vbulletin style notification System? when i subscribe in a topic if someone reply in this I receive just one mail and no other if first I don't visit link/topic. after of this notification start again if other reply exist, ecc ecc (but, everityme, only one email). - today, with ipb, I've received this (11 mail, and... continue)! We really need to search and sort by participants, I have this issue in 3.4 and still in 4.1. How do we find a conversation with a user? If I know the username and use the search box it does not search participants, it will only come up if that username was mentioned in the body. Also sort would be good by participants as well, if we don't remember the exact username (or a type-ahead that brought the name up as we typed it in search). A "Participant search" with that function would be awesome. A radio button to search body or participants. I also do not need to see my user pic in the message window, it makes finding messages hard if I am the starter or last replier. …

Hello im really pissed of from this tiny square profile picture on ips4 and i want to change it to bigger one i have tried to change it at misc.css which the default size is 90x90 i changed to 150x200 i also changed the size at "ACP - Members - Groups - Social - Maximum profile photo width/height to 300 but no matter what changes i do the display image in the topic keeps getting stretched would someone help me out here please? i want the profile picture to be 150x200 in the topics display how can i d that without getting the image stretched

Hi there, in November I want to update my 3.x site to 4.1 – I hope that this time you really publish the final version at the and of October. When I told my users for the first time from the update, were the first questions: Will the chat be better at lenght? I believe that they're right The last update of chat was some years ago I feel. Are changes planned for the next few months? Otherwise I would still looking for a third-party chat, and this would be a shame.

When I upgraded to 4.0 the recount process adjusted all the post counts for my users. In the past we had the ability to skip this. Please give us the option to do that again. I don't want to edit this every time the process runs. Believe it or not some users get really attached to their post counts.

In a former version was the possibility to split the forum domain from the content domain. Like: forum.mysite.com for the forum and magazin.mysite.com for the content I know this feature is not there in V4.x now although there is a way if you install in in the subfolder you can define the root for the content. Pleas this was a very nice and working solution. I had my magazine completely on a different subdomain. Now it's sad that this feature is gone away because now all the content from google is going into deep space ,-). I would love to have it back. Maybe it's not so much work at all. Murmel
