It would be nice if you sell things in multiple currencies you can enter your base currency and set a checkbox then the other currencies could update on a schedule thru some API to reflect the exchange rate for that denomination

At the moment the permanent login cookie lasts only 7 days. Please give us a feature to manually edit this important setting. Seven days is definitely to short. I want to make it very easy for returning users to use the forum. I don't know any site where this setting is only this short. I would change it to 365 days.

Many of my users are complaining the new site is intermittently and randomly sluggish, I have noticed this myself. Compared to my 3.3 install prior to upgrade, things have noticebly slowed down. In order to test the theory, I have created a subdomain of the old site (on the same server). It's sensationally fast in comparison. My IPB 3.3 install consitently passes Google's Page Speed Insights test (i.e. always quicker than 0.2 seconds response time), whereas IPS 4.0 is consitently failing this test, sometimes as long as 1.4 seconds to respond. IF you add enough profanity filters you can no longer see your list as only the first ones are shown but pagination doesn't seem to exist to show the remainder. Am I missing something?

So it's been bugging me for a while but my OCD finally won. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the way that things are listed when it comes to applications (specifically Pages but all in general). They each show up in their own free form order in multiple places. First the create menu: Doesn't seem weird until you see that topic is near the top on mine and 3rd from bottom here. I figure, well maybe it's the way they are ordered in my ACP, which is accurate but that will lead me to my final point about being able to order databases. We have discovered that a favorite way to commit reputation abuse is via profiles. Reputation should be given to high-quality content that deserves it. It's hard to track it on profiles, and there is hardly ever content on profiles (statuses) deserving of reputation. Therefore, we should have the ability to disable the possibility to earn reputation for status updates.

2 factor auth is pretty much industry standard at this point. Any plans for it to be added to IPS? Some may say admins can't front the bill for texts etc, but- no need. There's free apps like Authy and Google's 2 factor auth app that can do it without any charge.

Hi there, I'm currently using a 50 user license for IPS hosted chat services. We are 13 active chat users in the chat at this time - and it's very confusing if more then 2-3 people are chatting. So please add the ability to create seperated chat rooms. I don't want to know how confusing the chat would be with a 200 user license ... Thanks, Admon

Currently there is a sales discount for a certain number of items sold and then the next item would be discounted. I am looking for a way to sell lets say 100 items and have the price of those all go down to xyz instead of regular price.

So, I was sitting here and a quick little idea came to my mind. Maybe when members post ideas/features that IPS likes and ends up implementing, you could have some sort of "Hall of Fame" to give credit to those with ideas. It wouldn't have to be anything very big, but I think it would give a little bit of friendly competition and promote members to offer feedback/ideas to have their name displayed somewhere, somehow. After all, there's an old saying that the richest gold mine is the grave yard, because there contains all of the ideas and skills from those around us which never seen the light of day.

For premium members you guys should offer this with more pay of course. Alot of people want to use your cloud but hesitate because the lack of ftp access... for example i cant use postloop nor forum wheel to upstart my forums cause i need to upload a file.

It would be really useful if, in addition to the current paste options of "Keep formatting, but allow user to remove formatting" and "Remove formatting and do not allow user to restore", you added a third option: "Remove formatting, but allow user to restore". By default, their content would paste as plain text, but they would get the banner allowing them to add the formatting back if they want. Too many users ignore or don't notice the formatting banner, and that causes loads of issues with the night theme, where black text is unreadable.

Just to keep things a little simpler when not using Designers mode. Can it be possible to touch-up the Theme Resources page in the ACP? 1. Reduce all images to a fixed height/width so it looks better aethetically and funcionaly 2. Have better filter option to include the last uploaded files - I'm tired of seeing 5000 flags and other icons before I get to a bg image I uploaded 3. Add the ability to upload more than 1 file at a time. I know you can do most of this inside designers mode, but this would make working without that option a breeze

Seems like the fun here has died down quite a bit. Nothing but minor bug fixes for quite some time. Each release is further apart. Market place has very few updates and nothing new and exciting in awhile. Is this just the normal flux of summer with people on vacation etc? Or has enthusiasm for IPB died down? Maybe my perception is skewed and I just need to be more patient. (open to this idea as well LOL) Your thoughts?

I've noticed on images that are wide and feature light-colored or are predominately white on the sides, the image browser previous and next arrows are invisible and you have to hunt for them on mouseover to utilize them. Of course, you could add custom CSS to solve this, but why not make this change default in IPB? Something subtle like a CSS shadow ( dow (box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.75); ) would cause them to stand out better. For an example of what I am talking about, go to the Marketplace, and find any addon that has multiple images (themes are a good place to look) and find ones that have white near the sides and are wide images, enough so…

Is there any way to edit an Emoticon once it has been uploaded? If not, is there any chance the development team can add an edit button so we can edit them after they have been uploaded? Also, when creating an Emoticon, would it be possible to have 'Add to existing group' set as the default choice for 'Groups'. Admins will tend to upload to a group more than creating new groups for each Emoticon, this way just seems more logical and less repetitive.
