I heard it was like this in 3.x so why not in 4.x I would like a way for IPS to recognize internal urls and activate menu effects if on those pages. Why? because the way the menu manager works will not give me the setup i require so i use external links and add them to the menu so i do get what i want. Any chance of the system detecting they are internal and showing you on on that page?

I've purchased 20 plugins and apps from the marketplace and I find the manage purchases area very basic. For example I'd like to know which apps have been updated since last time I've downloaded them so I can keep my community up to date. I've had a great experience the past 12 years with IPB until v4 then there has been a noticeable slip, I understand new major releases take time and I feel now at v4.1.1.0, is enough time to of ironed out all the issues. But it seems every update I do, I encounter problems, it's frustrating for me and more so my members to the point they are "exhausted" of the site not working correctly. I submit tickets, some get resolved quickly, others I feel slightly brushed away with a standard reply. Not the quality it was before. In Nexus it would show all the support tickets in order of date, how can I set the default view for decending dates? It's somewhat annoying that I have to keep clicking the order tab to set the first page to the newest ticket. Also, can we have a mass selection/tick box so we can highlight a range of messages and set them to any of the follow options; resolved/open/closed etc. One more option that is troubling me is that I use to have all the options highlighted (statues), but if I had a new ticket it would only show (1) ticket is open, now when I highlight the options it tells me I have over 250 tickets, both in ACP and on the commerce sidebar block. Can we please review getting a "description" field for theme custom settings. If you make a plugin you can add a description, just not a theme custom setting. Some fields just need a little extra definition.. Regards

X-XSS-Protection is set to 0 (zero) by Output.php .. Is this still needed to force/add another header? Mostly all servers are already configured to set X-XSS-Protection to 1 .. Now I have this 2x times in my headers .. .

Would it hurt the forum layout or anything if admins could separately set width and height limit on avatars? Meaning that users won't be forced to use square or round images anymore, but they will be able to use a rectangle image for example (e.g.: 150x300). (I sent a support request asking how I could set those limits separately and I was pointed to this category)

The default zoom level for Google maps for calendar events and gallery photos is set far to high (IMHO). The default map method can already handle a zoom variable but this isn't set in event.php and image.php. I would like to see this extended to give the admin more control over the reason for hiding posts. Currently, this is just a textbox where the admin/moderator is required to input a reason and sometimes the reasons for hiding posts will differ from person to person, for the exact same issue. I would like for admin to be able to create a list of reasons for hiding posts (pretty much in the same way the user warnings) and this would be presented as a pull-down menu instead of a textbox. This would make it easier for moderators to categorise and speed up the process. The selected reason would then be displayed within the hidden post. Possibly with the ability …

The editor is still the number one complaint from my members, with some even suggesting that we switch to some other software just to get a more usable editor. A few suggestions have been made by them that they feel, and I agree, would make the editor more user friendly: On smaller screens, rather than removing buttons entirely, just move them to an overflow menu (or have an overflow menu plugin that the admin can move buttons to at certain resolutions, if doing it automatically is impractical) so that, if they want, a user can add a quote or list to their post when using it on mobile, or whatever. I am in desperate need of a way to hide images that have been inserted into posts after they have been uploaded as attachments from certain groups. My forum requires a membership fee to view content, but if guests and members can see every inserted image it defeats the purpose. Previously I was using the Cloak mod to do this but something appears to have broken it, so it no longer properly hides images. It would be great to have this as a builtin feature like many other forum software do.

I know there's some nice filtering options in the blocks for putting feeds from Blogs, Gallery, Databases etc in. What would be nice are some quick exclusion filters, such as excluding all blog entries or information by a Member. So similar to the author to include field, an author to ignore field. This would help in removing individuals that just clog up the feeds with useless blog posts like a twitter feed, without removing their privileges from having a blog.

Just as a reference My issue is not translation however, it's manually having to edit the theme file through ftp.. Can IPB consider another way to achieve this? I seen Mark made a post a while back that had a screenshot that included the Title. It appeared around the end of 2015 or maybe beginning of 2016 it was possible to include a title? To avoid this I can add all my Custom Settings of course to the customs tab, but it would be nice to be able to divide them up without digging in to the theme through ftp. Thanks

Hey guys, I am a newcomer from Burning Board 4.1 to IP.S and I am really happy here. I have some ideas how to improve the image resizing options in the IP.Suite that may be great for all of us. Currently, you only have the options to change the alignment and the image size with two input fields. Truly sorry if this has been covered, but using "IP" in search function doesn't work. Before 4.x came out, all Moderators had the ability to look up more info than just the posts that used a particular IP. They could get a resolution on the host name, and also sort by which users used that IP to access Forums. This is INVALUABLE in any IP lookup tool. Simply listing the posts doesn't help nearly as much. If this functionality could be restored, that would be crucial. If this has been covered before, appreciate the link. Thx,
