Would be effctive and good for all to use less time to search infor to learn. The forum with time will be amound very data or topics, some are usefully but not all, I think the data is value, should be organized, filter and show it like a curse or guide, or academy of community, will be very help, the people will learning use the software(IPS) effective and faster, users(admins) stronger, company stronger. Community perspective. But normally, if I want to learn some thing, I have to search and search, read read read, topic by topic, post by post, hours and hours and maybe finally...only little thing to know.

Would be nice if I ips give me option to name my images automatically when I upload it, example, set system give image name [me][ddmmyy][uploadtime]. And I can have all my images and file organized, easy to search.

Repost from the patch note: I installed the 4.1.17 beta today and while everything is great, I'm kind of bothered that I cannot display custom fields from Pages databases in the RSS feeds. It makes the compatibility with pages completely useless. I'm left using my custom methods still. Is there anywhere else more appropriate to suggest this? The ability to insert custom fields in an RSS feed would be great and make the new "Custom RSS" feature infinitely more useful.

On Pages, there is no option to "Save and Reload" when we are adding an article. Good practice ditates that we must save our work from time to time, so in case of a computer crash, we don't lose our work. With Pages, we need to hit Save and then hit Edit again to acomplish this. It would be nice to have a "Save and reload" button, so we could update the database and keep editing the article. Thanks.

It would be nice to see Commerce have a overview index instead of going straight to transactions. Overview could include transactions of course but imo should contain also the other areas in commerce in one general overview location preferably when entering the Commerce application. Thank You

I want to share something i think this software needs for anyone that used it to host a community! To best explain what my filtering idea is i am going to share a quote with you that states my beliefs. I am wondering if something like this could be used in addition to the ignore functions to create filters. This would put the power of content back in the hands of the user, lessen the load on admins and create a nicer atmosphere that will help forums become more flexible to a their userbase and please these many different types of people. For those sites which reward dedicated contributors with added privileges, prizes, Group promotions etc., it occurred to me that it might be a good idea to add an option for a site's administrator to be emailed/notified if a member reaches a certain rank. I'm not sure if something like this exists - I've been searching the AdminCP and couldn't find anything.

Hey guys, I am really needing the activity stream to serve as my homepage. Is there anyway to do this, kind of like how we can currently set Blogs, Pages, or Forums as the "default" app? Can I do this for the activity stream page? Thanks for the help.

Good working this. But we has special case. We have a forum group, named "Product Developers". In this widget users can see latest topics, where our official staff from special group posted his content. Users very much need this for better follow answers from developers in each topics. In default IPS widget settings we can add users by their nicknames. But it it very complicated for future manage (users may delete from group, add and etc). When user try to load animated avatar forum will open crop editor to them. But in any conditions of file, crop settings they are not work. Avatar load as is and resize to square (so some rectange avatars will see bad). I think forum can't have ability to crop animated gif's. So, if you create this ability - it will be perfect. If else, then may be better detect type of image and if this is animated gif - don't open editor? Thanks

Hi Invision Power is the best forums ever, I am happy with the support I've been given and the quality of the product and I am proud to be a member of this community. I recommend adding a feature where you have to enter a minimum amount of characters before your post is allowed to stop low quality posts. Also, this has proven to stop low quality posts on 100's of forums so don't argue with me saying it is pointless, it may be pointless for your forum but good for a lot of forums. I changed two years ago from the software phpmyforum to IPBoard. Currently, I am running version 3.4.7 (with all security patches) and I have installed in a closed area a test version with IPBoard 4.1.16.1. Now I have, when I made the conversion of phpmyforum to IPB, also old URLs. It will be eficient, practical and cool function if add possibility to user after read a post, then they can give audio or video to interactive or response to the post. Hello, there is no ability to add / edit tags once an image has been posted to an album / category. When you click on Mange Image > Edit Details, you can edit the fields for description, credit, copyright, etc. but no tagging.

Hallo I wonder what amount of tweaking is planned for the theme editing? It is quite good already. So I wanted to start creating a new theme. Part 1: change colors. I found some of the colors I wanted to change directly when editing the theme. But for some I don't understand where they belong. So I would change a color but don't know where? Google analytics code should be in just before < /head>-tag, not in bottom of page like it is now. https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080 This messes up stats. GA counts visitor visit time after GA code is loaded etc. Devs, see ticket #968773 if you wanna see example.
