A custom Activity Stream RSS feed posts the same topic multiple times as each new post in a topic is made. This looks very redundant in a facebook or twitter feed. Exactly, I don't think you need to reinvent the wheel, just add an option to select to post a new topic, blog, article, calendar event, gallery item, etc once independent of comment updates. Reinventing the wheel? I have gone back to caveman days. Every time I change anything on my forums, I have to go to Chimp feed and paste hundreds of rss feeds. Have to do it again today. Look at the odds when doing this hundreds of times,,,, I have to start all over again. You really have no clue... I want all new topics and articles and pages to feed into my FB and Twitter pages. (The pages will likely never happen.) And I don't want additional posts with comments showing up. This app is what I purchased to do exactly as you are suggesting, and it allows you to choose the Forums you wish for your RSS feed to draw new topics from.
