Beyond being way too slow for any downloads section with a great deal of files and subcategories, the contentCount() method and implementation are broken in at least 2 ways: there is supposed to be a limit to the depth that the method will dive to count items. However, the code $childDepth = $depth++; will never actually increment the counter because it's assigning the old value of $depth each time before incrementing it, i.e., the value always stays at the default. Both GD library and ImageMagick offer compression abilities from what I can tell.

Hello, we sell software licenses using nexus. When we have intergrated Paymentwall we noticed that Paymentwall revokes VIP-Access upon filed Paypal disputes or creditcard chargebacks while IPS doesn't. I think it would be a very useful feature to revoke the assigned groups automatically until the paypal dispute has been closed/solved.

When creating feeds for Blogs (post or comment) or Database entries, in addition to choosing which blog/database(s) you want it would be great if we were able to filter by tag(s) as well.

As many of us know, Search functionality in IPB is something of a bone of contention, as per this well-trodden thread: I'd feel guilty about bumping this issue after it's been discussed so much, but I think this is one of the most important outstanding issues facing IPB. i think is useful filter or show a popup with my post inside a item... to permise a rapid search of all submissions, easy share and knowledge general status/summary of it. this plugin include a popup with a summary of author but don't provide a link to filter/search my post on a topic/article... this filter the posts on topic screen but is not the solution "my posts"

The way the Gallery Slider widget displays images is just ugly. I had to tweak it to stop it from doing squares everywhere.....my question is....why do I even need to do that? It is obvious when you go into the Gallery that the New Images section can properly display images scaled down to appropriate dimensions....so why not on the widget? Widget New Images

Hi, I was wondering if you would consider adding a data layer option to a future release. In particular, this type of data layer: https://www.optimizesmart.com/google-tag-manager-data-layer-explained-like-never/#a1 More specifically, i'm looking for something that could be exposed to Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Perhaps have it so it can either be populated by static text, or with one or more (custom) profile fields from the user profile of the person who is logged in at the time. Or if you wanted to go even deeper, perhaps it could be setup much like the metadata and be per page? Thanks Adam

I have around 20 databases and each one as many custom fields added to them. This wouldn't have been an issue however, today I decided to add another group to have permissions to add and edit content and what a nightmare this is to do. Is it really necessary to have the permissions on each of the fields, on top of the database permissions as this just seems like overkill to me? If you won't remove the permissions on the fields, at least give us a way to change them all globally at once rather than individually at a time. This is just so time consuming.

IP Content and specifically the custom databases.....is probably the most powerful aspect of the entire suite. For admins like me to be able to stand up custom databases that suit our website needs, is beyond awesome. However I think with a few more database field types, it could be a game changer for most sites. When I stand up a custom database, I do so to leverage the power of my community, I want to encourage my members to add their knowledge into our databases. Hello I'm getting repeated spam through the report something system. I must have had 50 over the last few months. I get an email saying "Guest has reported something" and the email (and the report on my forums) is just a list of blatant spam links. I've been on the IPS forums, and a lot of people have the same issue, but it seems the only response is to tell them to turn off access to guests reporting. I can't be alone in having forums that are read mostly by "guests". I would say 98% of all my readers are not members. Therefore I need them to be able to report something. Hi, fist of all, i am in Venezuela, a country in a huge crisis and where there is not chance of pay anything online, anything, all transactions online are blocked by the government (you can read further in other sites, i am not lying). With so much effort, i payed for the full license of IPB and 2 or 3 times extended the support, but now i can't pay anything more. Since the SEO tools available are pointing out the shortage of H1 and H2 tags, I recommend that the default IPS editor setup have these tags available, controlled via persmissions (I don't want the users tagging the heck out of everything) and displayed in the default style sheets and templates.... Shouldn't be a big thing to do, and would improve SEO for the output of the entire suite... If this capability is already there, out of the box, then please point out where I can enable it...

Hello, The IPS keeps the code-by-code log of all changes to the articles, this table is getting heavy as the time, due to constant changes. It would be nice if had an option in IP.Pages to clear this log in a certain period set by the administrator.

How about a way to view the number of likes on images from the album view. Also a sort by Likes would be nice. And I STILL think there should be a default album for all members to store their profile and cover images.

When a user uploads 2 dozen pictures into a single album in the gallery, instead of showing each picture in VNC, it should show that the user uploaded a new Album and show the Album name. My VNC is going to get very very messy come auto show time. I could see showing the picture if it was one or two pictures being added to an existing album, but if the album is all new, don't show all the picture in VNC.

Currently the gallery home page is a list of categories, then recent images. I think it'd make more sense to have 'categories' then 'albums' - one new album could easily fill the 'recent images' section, meaning other new albums have no visibility. Perhaps list each new album on a row, with three or four of its images alongside it?
