Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted September 8, 20168 yr When a user uploads 2 dozen pictures into a single album in the gallery, instead of showing each picture in VNC, it should show that the user uploaded a new Album and show the Album name. My VNC is going to get very very messy come auto show time. I could see showing the picture if it was one or two pictures being added to an existing album, but if the album is all new, don't show all the picture in VNC.
September 8, 20168 yr We already have an internal discussion about this actually, because we agree and have noticed before. Unfortunately it's technically difficult given the way our content index operates, so it isn't a simple thing to change - but it's definitely on our radar.

I've brought this up before. Every time I upload to my IP.Gallery, it floods the Activity Stream.
September 14, 20168 yr Author Ugh. this is causing problems. Is there a way to set the default stream for all users to NOT include gallery?
September 14, 20168 yr Which default stream? All Activity? I created my own system stream called All Activity, modified it to what I wanted and then replaced the built in one on the menu manager.
September 15, 20168 yr Ahh..OK. Log in as an Admin and edit the stream as shown below and save it. If/when IPS fix this problem you can simply change it back to All Content.
February 14, 20177 yr Just adding my voice to this. Albums should be included in All Activity, but not each image in an Album. What happens with images posted directly to a category, though?
