I am unable to click on the arrow which will let me manage the blocks/widgets in my sidebar. Is this a known issue or something on my side? Thanks in advance.

Currently when you upload an image to IP.Gallery, the only field that is pre-populated is the image title, and this is done using the images filename. However, filenames are almost always generic, undescriptive, and not human friendly. Photography edited with popular tools such as Lightroom will often already have this information populated in the image's exif data fields. Most all major image sharing services such as 500px, stock photo sites, and even Facebook will extract this information automatically on upload. Adding support for this would be a simple but extremely useful improvement to IP.Gallery. The caption field can be extracted from the image…

The option to allow registering users to refer an existing memeber of the community upon registration, and to be able to see the person the new user referred upon registration in the members list. Could also be integrated to allow a perk or other configurations similar to the commerce referral and so on.

I can't decide if this is a good ideas or not, but.... I thought it may be nice if usernames for mentions are ordered with users who have already posted in the current topic first, then alphabetical as secondary ordering. That way, you would have less letters to type to get to them, in many cases. I mean really I don't think it would be more resource intensive, because you already have the data of who posted in the topic and all you'd have to do is check against that data and separate out the list. Just not sure if enough people would care, but especially on large sites, it would save some time when typing out names. On this site here, if you type a few letters in, you're…

For promoted content, please add the ability to post to multiple sources (such as multiple FaceBook Pages or Twitter accounts). Some of our content is relevant to our other communities, so it would be very helpful to cross-promote.

Similar to the new update to blogs I think that there should be a way for club owners to add a few of the mentioned widgets in my other post to their sidebar themselves that should above the existing sidebar for the section the person is in.

Since most people on my forum land on a topic..... wouldn't it be more helpful to see # of views and currently viewing on the actual topic post header or footer? I do like that it exists in the forum lists.

I really like the Fluid forums view mode, but for those of us who want to set that up as a default view it may prove a bit irritating to newcomers, who will see forums but no descriptions of what they're about. Not sure if anyone mentioned this before, but what if, for Fluid mode, putting your mouse pointer over the Forum title generated a floating window with the forum description? I've seen that done with other forums in the traditional view mode and it can look really cool. They could then click what forum(s) they want to view. Needless to say, a floating window should preserve any text formatting/colours in the original forum description.

I've been checking the system as I needed to find a customer and match it to a paypal agreement but we cannot search commerce customers via postcode or the full address? It only gives you an option to search: First Name Last Name Email address Display Name Phone Number When we pack and send items to our customers we cannot search their address? What happens if information is changed including the email but the address is the same? We've had it before that they've changed details to their partner for instance. This also isn't on 4.2 and it think such a feature would be welcomed and be extremely useful!

I think its useful to have the ability to limit reactions per user group. This way you can create more "fancy" reactions available only for premium members.

Hello! I want to ask, why are all the (old, v3.4.6) Support-Topics are only viewable for user with an active client account? When i visit my old IPB 3.4.6 Board, i can read "Licensed to ..." in the lower right corner - so this meaning, i`m a kind of active- or no? Furthermore, why are the v3.4.6 Boards "closed", if v4.2 the new state of the Art and the Team dont support it anymore? But let the user help together... Why i need an active account, if i want to stay with IPB 3.4.6? MAYBE i can understand, if you gave the old 3.4.6 Board "read-only" permission, but totally closed....Its a kind of strange "pay-or-die" politic! I re-newed my licens…

Hi IPS, I've been asking for this years since we finally got our Emoticon Manager in IPS4, but... Please could you add options to import and export emoticon categories, so we can easily share between communities, quickly set up emoticons in new communities and share in the Marketplace? Please can you add - and + open and close view toggles (like you see in various places around IPS4) to the emoticon categories in the AdminCP, so that when we have large numbers of emoticons, we can toggle the categories closed to make dragging and drop re-ordering so much easier, as opposed to endless scrolling up and down the page? Many thanks!

A couple of questions especially for those of us who have a larger number of forums. 1. Are there settings in the Admin to select which Forums are available for Fluid View different from the other two views? Thus maybe the size of the Forum list could be minimized by eliminating subforums or other less used forums. 2. Will there be any way to limit the Fluid View Forum list block size, thus it might automatically scroll for say more forums than 10--15.

Hello everybody! I work with performance. Today the IPB has a poor performance at Google Pagespeed Insights. The mobile version note is 65+ in speed section, too bad for a site! Mainly about the javascript/css files loaded at <head> section. Is too many files. Can you improve this? Like minify 1 css only, instead 8 or more files loaded today. And load the Javascript files via ASYNC mode, like <script async ...>, this is a good practice nowadays. Regards folks!

Right now if you want to remove a recommended post, you need to click on "Go to this post" then "Options", then "Remove recommendation". This is slow and clunky. It will be much better if Recommended posts can be removed directly from the top, much like "Content messages" can be removed.

Having embeds in signatures can be annoying sometimes, so I think it would be a good idea to let users to choose whether or not they want to view embeds in other people's signatures. One possible way to implement this is if the user says no, then the embeds will turn to links. Thank you

(This might already be available, but my 4.2 diagnostic test site is offline right now) Notification when one of your content items become a Recommended Reply or Socially Promoted. This gives a nice public acknowledgement to the user that his post has been specially selected by the moderstor.

The automatic IPS support/admin account creates a non-existing email address, which is fine, but could you configure it so it doesn’t bounce? I have lots of content that needs admin approval and the notification emails always go out to that account as well and come back to me with an error message. That’s not really really necessary and gets a little annoying.

So I find the club widgets lacking! I feel to really engage someone to participate in their club these widgets should be implemented. SO here I go to start to explain widgets that I think are needed: The Club activity should be a widget that you can drag and drop anywhere so you can have that on more than the club page. Who's online in my clubs. Similar to the who's online list but has a list of members online that are in the members clubs only. Possibly with the number of clubs they have in common in parenthesis afterward so they can know how many clubs they have in common. Gallery, blog, downloads etc widgets that will only show recent club items. …

When upgrading or downgrading a product to another product in the same category, its possible to upgrade to something that is out of stock. I believe this to be a problem because a user shouldn't be able to access a product for which there is no stock.
