I had such feature in 3.4.x version. Moderators couldn't see admin ip. There was only a text: "hidden". After upgrade to 4.x version moderators see ip history of administrators. Is it possible to disable ip visibility of administrators?

Hi I am really loving the the Pages app and have created a great website making good use of categories, category listings and per category images. However currently one rather sad IPS4 omission is that there is no ability to define a default sort order within the Pages app for articles listed in a category. Currently it looks to be a hard coded default to sort by title only, whereas I need sort by views so the most popular articles feature at the top of the listing. Unfortunately the only configuration available within Pages is at the database level to sort homepage articles and even then views is not one of the options. Interestingly in the Downloads app…

Hello, I'm not sure if this is even a feature yet (or if I'm just not doing something right). So I'm posting this in the product feedback/ideas section. When pasting a YouTube link on a post, it will automatically embed and show a preview of the video on the post while editing. However, once this is done, you can't do any formatting to the YouTube video. If you highlight it and press center it will not center. Even if you are already typing in center and embed a video, it will align to the left side of the post. Is there anyway to change this or add formatting options for embedded videos? I can only mark tickets Resolved. If a resolved ticket stops working, it would be nice if I could reopen that ticket instead of being forced to enter a new one. I assume that workflow would be better for Invision too, because they'd have all the context of what work has been done on the issue so far. Whenever I try to refer to one ticket in another ticket, it seems like Invision's support engineers don't really know what I'm talking about or have a way to see the old ticket, even if I give them a URL to it.

How can one get images in IPboard RSS feed. If we integrate IP Board RSS feed into external website page via RSS reader, you just get text. http://community.inv...ws-and-updates/ I would like to know if there is a way it gets the first image in topic post or the image of author like displayed in Recent Topics box in index page of this forum to appear in RSS feed. I believe the text warning about anti fraud rules to be incorrect. For example when I create some rules i get this message: It says the the last rule that matches all conditions will be used. However, this is simply not true. If I have a rule called 'refuse' that blocks all transactions with a maxmind score of over 30, and another rule that holds for approval any transaction that has a maxmind score of over 3. If I order them so that refuse is after the approve rule (aka, it is the LAST rule, it never gets hit even with transactions with a 99% maxmind score). I would like to see the ability to grant a specific member the ability to create a new record in the database. Currently, I have to create a membership group and allow that group the ability to create a new record. I'm using the Articles database, and I have different categories. I would like to allow only specific members to create new articles in a specific category. Currently I would have to make a new group and allow that group to create a new record in the database. As my site grows, I will have too many membership groups - as I would have to create a new membership group to allow posting a new article in a category.

In Wikipedia if you want to link to a page that already exists you can do the following.... [[iPhone]] Which will link to .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone It would be nice if we could do similar linking between IP Content Database records, rather than having to look up and copy/paste the links. It could work just like the Member hotlinking, where you type @Member and get a list of entries to select from.

I am moving our screenshots and uploads over to Amazon S3 and it's working perfectly. This drastically reduces the size of our website backups and makes it much easier to maintain our site. We no longer have to worry about gigs and gigs of extra files saved in every single site backup we download.

Hi, Is there any way to make MP4 (and other video formats) automatically embed in IP.Board 4.2? Now each user have to download the file to their device in order to view it - just placing the video in a player with the additional option to download would make for a much smoother experience.

I noticed that the percentage calculation in the multiple choice poll is equal to the = votes per option/total number of votes. While this may be accurate for single choice polls it gives an incomplete picture of the poll results for the multiple choice ones. Would it not be better to have percentage = votes per option/total number of voters

No one bothers to type in a version number so every file has a ton of "1.0.0" revisions. It would be better to just display "Revision 1, Revision 2, Revision 3..." etc.

Ok, so i posted this in the forums to get my answer So my idea, or suggestion is for IPS to put in a future version to allow members on our server to be able to use account credit/balance for auto renewals Even if it "is" for that purpose, i think that members should still have the choice if they want to save their commission/credit or to use it on auto renewals

Currently in calendar events the order is first REVIEWS and then COMMENTS. Support told me that this needs customization in order to change order because there is no way to do that otherwise as is. I would like to ask to be able to order that under any circumstance. Same goes to Downloads etc. Any other opinions?
