Your basically selling memberships to view clubs doing it this way. Set renewals so they are moved out of the privileged group to view if they don't renew. that's a basic way to do it. Commerce handles memberships and group permissions like a dream. Using group permissions is also really imo the best way to sell files too using downloads. Could be used as an alternative to things like patreon, and allows for them to have forums, galleries, etc. I like this idea and 100% support it.
