Hello Everybody! Sometimes I receive email from Guests sent from Contact Form with a wrong email address... because the form does not check if it's correct or not. If a user write accidentally a wrong email address..I cannot answer to his request 😄 Is it possibile to add an "email validation" in this form?

It would be great to be able somehow make some product groups unavaliable to certain usergroups. I know I can do it product-by-product, but this is not very cool to edit a lot of products. The usecase for this - I want to pause some part for the store, and not showing this products at all, but I do not want to edit 50 products "not show in store" and do not wat to delete the group structure.

I would like to see more filters available when sending bulk emails to members. Specifically, I would like the ability to filter by custom profile fields. I have a profile field for country, and another for interests. Both of those are incredibly useful for segmentation. There could be workarounds... for example you can filter by secondary group. If I could search by profile field and bulk add found members to a secondary group, I could then bulk email them. However, there is no bulk add to secondary group option... only a bulk move option, which changes their primary group. In the end, I export my list and use MailChimp. But i'd rather do it in house, and …

Hello, I have a couple of requests related to the Unread Content page. Item 1. Would it be possible to have the Unread Content page auto-refresh itself when new activity occurs? Right now, I get a notification added to the bell, but if I'm on the Unread Content page when something new happens, it doesn't show up until the page is refreshed. Perhaps there is some modern web API to push updates to the page dynamically without reloading the whole thing? Item 2. I use chrome on an iphone. I open https://invisioncommunity.com/ and get a screen like this - as far as I can see there is no way to get to the notifications page without tapping several times.. I can see that I have 4 notifications, but to read the notifications I'll have to tap 6 times.. 2 3 4 5 And on the 6th tap I can see my notifications. Userfriendly? At least it should have been a link in the black field at the bottom of the first screen, as it is with only one notification, or have the notificationmenu - as we have on the desktop version.

First suggestion for Elastic Search: ignore coordinating conjunctions such as for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so (aka FANBOYS). I searched my IPS for the phrase 'ben and ken' (without quotation marks) which I knew to be an exact match for a topic title, and it returned a bunch of results containing AND.

There needs to be a better way to control the permissions of members in validation. In past releases validation was a group where access could be controlled. But now it is more like a status. The problem we have is that we do not want members to start setting up their account -- photo, cover, signature, etc. -- before their account has been approved. So now we have to set those permissions on the newbies group. I have set it up so that once they make their first post they are promoted to the members group with full permissions. But this is awkward and confusing the the new member. Is there a better way to do this? It would be nice if the newbie member could be p…

So I announced a few Commerce products with a newsletter and sold them instantly this way. Problem is: I sold more than I actually have! 😰 Because people over here like to pay with wire transfer, so the payment is processed manually. But until the payment is confirmed by me, the product stays available for other people to order! So orders can pile up, even if I am already of of stock. Or is there a way to prevent this already? If not, please add an option to put products on hold/out of stock if they were ordered with “manual payments” until the order was canceled.

Hi, I am a relatively new customer to IPBoard and would like to request the feature: Profile Member Access Feature So that users in my forums can select which members or groups of members can see their Profile (or not see their profile). (Similar to the Facebook Profile, yes, mostly because there's quite a few who still want to share personal details/life milestones with others but no longer trust doing so on the Facebook platform.) Before anyone buys commerce to use paid clubs, you should be aware it is difficult for a guest to become a paid club member. We've been marketing and had 45 people enter into the 2nd step. In 4.3 (I think), you added support for LOGIN_REAUTHENTICATE, which you use to verify a user's authenticity when changing their email or 2FA credentials. This means that the ability to authenticate by a method supported by LOGIN_REAUTHENTICATE is sufficient to add a local password anyway, as you can change the email then reset the password. LOGIN_REAUTHENTICATE supports reauthentication using social login methods such as Facebook. However, there is still no UI support for adding a local password if you currently only have social logins enabled, so you have to go through the password reset process. When creating a new recurring event, there is no option to specify an option such as "the third Tuesday of every month," or "the second Wednesday of every other month." Especially for club owners who are scheduling monthly meetings, this would be a very valuable feature! Being able to specify the interval of the recurrence would mitigate the need to manually add new meetings every week/month/etc. At the moment, you can specify an event takes place on the 15th of every month, but most meetings do not work like that . Anyone else want to second this request?

We are running Invision Community Version 4.3.6 and users have complained about the usability of the gallery. One complaint was that, on this page: http://community.ceramicartsdaily.org/gallery/ it is not super intuitive that clicking on the image at the top that says "Members Gallery" takes you to an archive page of all members albums. Is there a way to make this more clear to users? Could there be a heading added that says "Browse Member Albums"? They have also requested that there be a way on that page to sort albums by member name. Are there any plans in the future to add this capability to the sort? I looks all over the admin CP but couldn't find any way to…

I'm trying to completely remove all the circled avatars, but ran into a problem. It seems like it's impossible to have a non square avatar. The user group settings make you have a fixed width/height.

I had 2 banners active 10.9-30.9 in same spot, in header section. ACP says one of them had 553719 impresions in that time. BUT, Google analytics says whole site had 163 154 page views in that time. Something isnt quite right in here. What do i tell to customer about impressions?

On our old version any file available for download would show how many times it was downloaded. That feature is no longer available. It was useful to see how specific downloads were being used. Which were popular and which were not. We would like to request that be added back in a future release if possible. Thanks, Doug

Hoping that the followed page (i.e. https://invisioncommunity.com/followed/ ) gets included in this feature. The way gmail does it is nice. When you select the "all" checkbox, if adds a line that says: "All 100 conversations on this page are selected. Select all conversations that match this search". The "Select All" is linked so you can click and select everything on every page. This allows someone to do a mass prune without having to click through pages. Of course, IPS could do this a different way which would allow showing all entries on one page so that select all actually selects all, or some other manner in which it is clea…

I've had an IPB forum for 15+ years, the largest community in Europe of its niche, 45,000 members, 2million+ posts thousands active daily in its peak. This was awesome in the desktop era but my forum has taken a decline and I'm not going to point fingers at social media here because I feel I can genuinely compete against them. It seems that @MMXII has the same thoughts that I do: If this were the Forums app or a Pages database, there wouldn't be any problem with a parent category being used as a container. If we do this in Downloads, we end up with an undesirable outcome: In my scenario, I won't be uploading to the parent category. I don't want an invitation to submit the first file and I don't want other people to be informed that I haven't yet submitted a file into the parent category: I've thought about using CSS to hide .cDownloadsCategoryTable but as best I can tell, there's no way to target a specific category so it would be an all or nothing approach:
