This is a carryover from the invisionalpha thread I made on this matter. Check there first before commenting here as there was a bit more added there and I don't want to have to re-cover everything unless it's a copy and paste from there. IPB 4.5 is looking great! I'm stoked for it for sure. However even with all of the improvements I was surprised to see profiles are still as stagnant as ever. While I understand not everything could be covered in 4.5, not seeing some sort of profile update was a bit of a surprise. We've all see the threads and posts about social media and forums. Hi, I’ve seen users create several new invoices with the same product. It should be great to have a cart button visible until the user decide to cancel the invoice or pay for it. Lot of user don’t find the page -> Store -> Orders and cancel the invoice there or pay for it.

I would like to suggest add ability to hide "Entry posted by x" (red), because the nature of the "A group blog by x" is show the entry as posted by the group that already named (orange), that is I want too, show the entry as posted by the group and not by some member. Anyone can tell me how can I hide remove the entry author? The other area where I want to remove the entry author from the Our Pick widget.

We have the option to allow members to Hide and/or Delete their own content. Is there a possible way we could get a setting to allow groups to Move their own content as well, in all and/or certain modules, just as Hide or Delete works?

I have contributors downloading the same file repeatedly to fake their rank in the top downloads list. (Or asking other members to download repeatedly) Can't we throw a "distinct" in that sql count select to make the list fair? (count user only once who downloads repeatedly)

Hi there. I was invited to Google several times over the last year as part of a group of Publishers and one of my major take aways is that AMP is a big deal in the Google sphere. Both for SEO and monitization. Does IPB have any intention to make topics linked from Google Search on Mobile, AMP friendly? It would be a huge win speed wise and SEO ranking wise, relative to their mobile first approach. Same comment on Pages. WordPress is killing us since they have a plug-in to bring AMP to their pages with relative ease. Many of my competitors use both that and YOAST quite successfully.

Hey there, I was wondering... how difficult would it be to create a plugin that allows a guest to be able to read, say, 3 topics before they are prompted to sign up. So for example, on their fourth attempt to read a topic in a set time period (1 day, 1 week etc), they are greeted with a message saying before they can continue their browsing experience they have to sign up. That message includes the sign up options - whether it's signing up through the forum, or logging in with Facebook, Twitter, Google etc. I would be super interested in something like this. It's a bit like a paywall, only they're "paying" with their email address. I anticipate there will…

Hello. As in the thread title - this feature was removed after the revamp going from version 3 to version 4. It was a very convenient one - you could make a custom group for a user that reaches the ban treshold set in the forum and then make a custom category/subforum for that person to appeal the ban. From version 4 forwards this is no longer possible as reaching the infraction treshold results in blocked access to the entire forum, forcing the banned user to use other means of communication to appeal their ban.

I hope that lazy load will be also implemented for YouTube embeds in 4.4. This topic is a live illustration why this is important. It would be awesome to load just thumbnail instead of player and to load player only when thumbnail clicked. This significantly improves performance on pages with embedded videos.

When a cookie-free domain is used, all resources are loaded by that cookie-free domain, including links in the contents of the manifest file. But, the initiator for loading manifest.webmanifest does not change and manifest is loaded from the primary domain. This causes: - DNS lookup - new connecting - new SSL, or about 200 ms delay for loading manifest file. If possible, include a cookie-free domain for loading manifest file, when used - this will speed up the loading site. Thanks

Would be great to have the option to export/import ban filters, to import/share trashmail domains with others. My site is hit by spammers, using those services quite extensively and theres nothing I can do about it. Just adding every single domain by hand, is not very effective!

Hi We are trying to promote our members to groups and the rules has only the following criteria for content posts and comments: Content Count: Reputation : Is there a way to add a rule for comment count ? Also is there a setting available to change what should be counted in the total of a content count ? for example : only no. of posts should be counted in "content count"

I know not everyone will have so many Clubs they will require categories. Still some of us would find it useful to be able to categorize our Clubs. [edit] Before someone suggest making a custom page using Pages. I would say then could we atleast have tags added to Clubs then?

Just like the products in commerce, subscription should also have these features enabled. Discounts Coupon code (not working with subscriptions, throwing gateway error) Multiple renewal option in same place - Monthly and Yearly Client area settings Custom email Throws this gateway error only if coupon code is used.
