It would be nice (and I understand complicated) if when you're tagging someone that the people that have replied to the thread get priority in the listing. So if say I, Matt, Morgin Brandon, etc all posted in a thread when I type @m Myself, Matt and Morgin would should up first above the user "M" or other alphabetical options. Basically giving people that posted in the thread a little more weight and make them easier to find.

I would like the ability, as a moderator/administrator to follow a member without alerting the member that I am following. When I deselect "let others see that I follow <MemberX>" I am not wanting the member to be alerted that I'm following their activity. Perhaps this is a different checkbox or moderator level permission, yet this is an important tool to stay abreast of problematic members as they create new content.

Is it possible to add the certified icon like on Twitter next to the names of the members? This icon would be recognized for members either for their experience in a field, their professional account, or even for the accuracy of certain options in the profile fields (the icon would then be next to the profile field) which was approved. ?

I was surprised that there is still no such function. This is actually strange. IPS supports multiple languages, the Pages module allows you to create your own pages, but we can not place text on them that would be multilingual. Pages are not user-generated content, they are created by administrators, so it's logical to add translation support. I doubt, that technically this is difficult, because the same module Commerce supports the description for products in several languages.

Curious situation - a possible bug? Administrator logout from his account. At the same tab of a browser login to a Member account - everything is ok. Member logout from his account. Again in the same tab of the browser login administrator. Administrator account is blocked for 14 minutes ... I did this test several times / after 14 minutes there is no problem with admin logging / Can anyone confirm a bug or I can create ticket?

It would be cool if we could tag usergroups like you can with individual users so everyone in that usergroup gets a notification of that post. Perhaps have it so only certain groups can do this, as I can imagine it could be abused if everyone has access. It would be handy as an Admin to @subscribers in posts for them for example, like subscriber only contests or info.

Hello I would suggest a improvement for categories and tags introducing taxonomy concept: 1. assign a basic structure, not a simple tree but a network model 2. extending it on posting new content 3. custom fields relationship useful for feedback/survey 4. define upsell, alternative, raccomanded content 5. multiple author/group for single posts/comment (relationship with other members share same/similar content) This could improve the understanding of the order of things inside the community with some schema visualization and a genuine growth of it Benefits: increase findability of content, great addition to Zapier @Matt, multilingual…

I see the potential to use Clubs in more ways than just as community enhancements so I wonder if you have considered allowing multiple versions of it being installed in one license? For example I might want to use clubs for listing software or services, but I also want a community enhancement as the default clubs. This is currently not possible and I would have to create a database with tabs that bring in forums for the default forum rather than isolated forums as I can in clubs? I think this can be useful for other applications as well, but clubs is what I would love to see right now 🙂

Hello, It's great that there is a statics section in the ACP that shows some useful info regarding sales and income on a basic level. But it would be great if it could give you deeper information about members buying products with renewals: What is the average number of months users renew a particular product What percentage of users that churn after 1 month, 2 months etc... If a product offers multiple renewal options. What is the percentage split between the different renewals options that people choose. Thank you for your consideration.

of any number of sites when we are members (banks, e commerce, ...), well we have a personalized home page with everything we need to know or have access on a single screen ... is it possible to do the same on IPS with Widgets rather than having menus everywhere (profile, my attachment, account setting, pm, notification, create ....) a home page where you can see everything all at once rather than having to click everywhere ... because I think it is time that the main page is no longer the page of the forum sections for members, but a page offering only what the member needs to know, again, and if he needs to learn more this is where he will then go to the …

I keep getting complaints from my users on my forums that the "Sign out" button is too close to the other buttons, and as such they're accidently hitting "Sign out" instead of their Private Messages box, or their notifications. Is there any way that by default these buttons are moved to the bottom of the menu? Which is honestly where I'd expect to find them, personally anyway. Kind regards.

Automatic account deactivation should be an option for our communities. I noticed this topic was started and then closed because Admin was reluctant to see the value of this feature. Could you imagine Facebook or Instagram not having an option to disable your profile? Or better yet, you need to write to the staff to manually get it done? It's ridiculous that we have to do it manually. People care about their privacy - whether you think it is a big deal or not that they close their account, it is important to them and it is an expected right with social media sites these days. This plugin is great but it's nearly $100 for what should be a basic social …

The view for categories of items in the Downloads system barely shows four items at a time. It wastes so much space. All app stores squeeze as many products into view as possible and let the images catch the viewer's eye. The categories view should just show the title, image, and some other info. The user should have to view the item's page to see its description. Most of our uploaded files barely have any description at all, just one short sentence. It makes no sense to waste so much space that could be used to show the viewer more items. Examples from other sites: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/windows https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/popular https:…

Often, I find myself having a need to clear the checkboxes on posts that I want to moderate. Please add a "clear all selected" option to the floating moderator toolbar. These checkmarks persist across visits to a thread and it's difficult to not accidentally take action on something I had checked prior.

For the next update in the Advertisements Section, Would it be possible to add the forums that you would like the ads to be shown in? Some people might get sponsors for specific subforms...should be a simple add on. Default can be all forum, and then you can select which forums, like in the announcements dropdown.

The default background image that is shown in blog entries, blogs, and profiles is very ugly. It looks like a website with its CSS missing or something. I would prefer to set this to a solid background color, without editing any templates in the forum skin.

Hello, I don't know if it already designed because I can't find similar option. If not then this is my suggestion, add option to hide the account credit amount , or move it to account section.

hi, I got a bug report that when you search for members in ACP and if you want to unsubscribe found members via Bulk Email Unsubscribe Members Found you always get this in next screen if you click on that text - "This action will unsubscribe 0 members from receiving bulk emails. Are you sure you wish to proceed? " script does not pick up filtered members.

Not happy. That summarizes my feelings on clubs. I investigated clubs three times in the past and last night I officially converted my group from Group Collaboration over to IP.Clubs, and I'm still deeply unhappy. I feel like I went from driving a top-of-the-line Mercedes to a Kia. The only thing going for the Kia is that it's company-insured to always be supported. This is an incredibly sensitive topic to me, because the reputation and features of my community are now critiqued by a third-party Club Leader who has entrusted me to move his 12-year group over to my community. I don't even know where to begin: No homepage - Your dinky little te…

This is just feedback and more of a vent than anything. I really think IPS is outsmarting itself with the way dates are displayed. Can we please just display the time and date as the time and date rather than "Wednesday at 05:39 PM" I was finally driven to post this because of a post on my site, where I couldn't find the quoted post easily. You can see the actual date of the quoted post is displayed. Excellent! It says "On 4/15/2020 at 2:21 PM." I should be able to scroll back through the 731 page topic to find this date and time. However, this isn't the case. When I scroll I see nothing but, "Wednesday at 05:39 PM," "Thursday at 04:31 PM," and "Thursday at 01:39 PM.…

Will there be any? I've always found the gallery quite cumbersome and with many users it's hard to navigate and find decent content.

For people who run a weekly or monthly or maybe even semiannual newsletter, or events, or something with which they'd like their Our Picks to correlate to, the ability to schedule at a bit broader of a time range than just daily would be really really nice. For example, my site currently does a weekly news kind of thing which requires 2 staff members, and if I could schedule Our Picks to launch weekly, I could make their jobs a million times easier. Just a thought, doesn't seem like it would be that hard to implement, and it seems like a lot of people would be able to take advantage of it in different ways. Thanks for reading.

For a long time IPS has an option to stop increasing the content counts in the forum sittings, and it would be lovely if we have the same option to stop the counts of the reputations.
