Ever since the last upgrade we have had load issues with mysql (mariadb). It appears a process for only ONE of the 3 IPB installs is running constantly 24/7. Does anyone know what this process is and why it running all the time? The DB and user names have been removed from the statement below. I frequently see another statement "Creating sort index" instead of "Sending Data". If that helps.

I have renewed my license last week, it is marked as active in the client portal. Since last night, I received 9300 notifications about my expired license (roughly one every 6 seconds). Login to the forum frontend takes minutes for an admin, and when trying to log in to acp, it simply times out. Already deleted the excessive logs from the table "ibf_core_acp_notifications", how can I force a cache reset (or a lic.key reset) via cli?

With the PHP8.0 requirement, IPB put out the 4.7.* releases which are php8.* compliant yet work fine under php7.4. I missed the boat on those. I'm on 4.6 something. I really need to be able to update to 4.7 so that I can still access my forum and thus the upgrade tool once I a2enmod php8.0. Currently I lose the forum when I do that. Error 500 and the logs show it's because of syntax errors. So, I have a need to download 4.7.3 so that I can install it, flip over to php8.0 and then upgrade to the latest release.

Hi, me again. Your resident pest about anti-spam measures 😛 Different problem this time though. I've got a message (actually a regularly repeating set) that has two terms which we have set to explicitly block submission in the word filtering for posts. The accounts doing the posting are still able to submit though, which shouldn't be the case. I've tried a test post using my own admin account and it won't let them through, as expected. I can't see anything out of the ordinary about this latest batch, but I've preserved one of the messages - hidden from public view of course. I have a strange problem with the Gallery. When I click the link to the Gallery app, it is (according to the browser URL bar) routing through an URL of the site visited earlier, before after some unusual wait time, arriving at the gallery index page. It’s a consistent issue I observed over the last couple of weeks. I already tried resetting the menu, turning off Cloudflare, deleting browser data, site cache and so on. But nothing helps. It’s only the gallery index that is affected. Anyone knows what could potentially cause this?

I am not sure how I did it, but when I enabled signatures, a while ago, I thought I had limited the height or something. However I did it, it didn't seem to work as one member has an image that is over 600 pixels high. Now, I cannot find out where I set up that height or other settings for signature. Can you point me to the right direction?

Hi team, I've created some events in my calendars with repetition series like this, and when I go to the events section and see the monthly view only show the next date for every repetition event. Not shows all dates for every repetition as should be. In this way looks like only we have one event every month and is not real. We have four or five events every month. I'm trying to recover access to an old invision board 3.4.7 that has just been left running for a couple of years with some activity. The problem is that I can not remember the admin password, and since there is an issue with captcha the image is not seen, so normal password recovery is not possible. Im a novice user, but i did manage to find my way to the ibf_members table, where i see my user and the md5 password hash and salt. Not quite sure why my currently active license does not include support requests anymore - the support request page sent me here. I'm updated my self-hosted Invision site to PHP 8.1, which showed some themes as incompatible and some other incompatibilities . so far so good. In the process of working with these, I have accidentally deleted the default Invision theme, and can't find any place to download it from. So, first of all - HELP with that please and get me some way to get that theme back, please. Next, how do I get someone to check into my site and let me know what all the issues are, and if I should just revert back to PHP 7.4? Help please.

Hi, We faced some old accounts been using from some spammers groups lately, how the the processing for this step work, dose it ask for old password and to input the new password as it should be? I ask, since many of these accounts do not recall they have accounts with us and they ask for account removal after changing and login to our forum. I recall in the past that you can force reset password on next login, but that option is gone or could not find it. Thanks in advance. Regards

I installed SEO Essentials and am surprised at how many 404 Errors it is showing me. I expected some broken links from my CMS data but not nearly this much. I assumed that all my forum data would have broken links because my old forum was embedded with an iframe. So how do I confirm that Converter is doing it's job as well as possible?

A member reported a pixelation aspect to their profile photo whereas they upload a large, high resolution photo and it correctly gets resized for the profile photo, however it is significantly pixelated. Image settings in IPS are set to the max and I see the same result whether using GD or ImageMagick. The test file is also a PNG and has no such pixelation.

Hello, I've reached out twice via e-mail and am unfortunately resorting to this forum for help. I'd like to cancel my plan since over 2 weeks ago. No one replied. Tried again today but got an automated "Thank you" reply. There is no option to cancel the plan in any tab as I have exhausted them all. However, I did receive a reminder that I would be billed again. Would appreciate someone directing me how to cancel my account permanently. Thank you.
