I can't find the program for checking when installing a new ISP_51de8. Also, the instructions are a bit vag. Do I need to set up a database, or is it done within the program? Here is what I have done so far I have Installed PHP 8.2.3. It does have MSQL not sure of the version. My host is SiteGround, self-host. I moved the files from the ISP_51de8 folder into the folder public_html. I then get an error when logging into www.home2000.com, 404. Is there anything I have to edit in any files? Do I need to create database files? Lastly, I would like to have the check file and knowledge on using it. The documentation in the manual was a bit confusing to me. …

We have some rather "private" individuals on our forum and we have had a few requests asking if it is possible for them to "block/ignore" certain users and their comments. Is there such a possibility, or would admin need to perform and "block" of sorts? Thanks Hans

Hi folks, looking for a few pointers if possible after spending a while trying to debug this. My forum was(is) on 4.5.4.2 and then one day recently it went offline suddenly, and I think it was 500 errors I was initially getting from it, and largely since. If I understand correctly in this version, PHP 7.3 was recommended, and 7.4 was supported at least. Part of the issue currently is I do not know what version of PHP the host was previously running before a change was made, but I'm going to assume for now it was 5.6.40. Additionally I don't know what PHP versions were supported with 4.5.4.2 IPB, but am assuming 5.6.40 still was. The host now only provides PHP 7.…

Hello, I have tried multiple times to create a page on our site. We have done this many times, it is nothing fancy at all. It is a manual HTML page with no site wrapper and one CSS style guide linked. Whilst the page creates in the admin centre, when I click to 'View the page' or I type in the expected URL, my site says "The page you requested does not exist". I have tried putting some code in, or doing it blank. I haven't been as active as normal on Invision for the last few releases. Hi All - Whenever I insert a hyperlink, I am trying to find a way where hyperlinks are automatically changed to the color blue. The way I am changing the color right now is manual, where I need to highlight the hyperlink in the post, and then use the color feature to change it—which is time-consuming. Is there a way to have it automatically set up so that all hyperlinks are blue? Wasn't sure if that was natively built-in or if there plugins. Thanks!

I looked around but I don't see any way to make this not happen - when using the "All Activity" feature to see the latest posts etc., it bumps blogs to the top of the stream if the poster edits it. It's not the end of the world, but occasionally someone will edit their blog quite regularly, causing it to stay at the top of the queue for all users and it looks like new content when it's not. Is there any way to make this not so?

I have a member that purchased one of the tiers ($25)of subscriptions on my site on 7/2022 and expires 7/2023. They are wanting to upgrade to a higher tier ($60). The system is trying to collect quite a bit higher than it should for the rest of the year ($50.14). Since they are half way through their initial year subscription; I'd expect it to be around $30 for the difference in upgrade costs. Why is this calculating the pro-rate like this?

My Users are complaining that every time they enter a given Topic, they're automatically pushed to view the very first Post of that Topic even if they've previously read it. Is there an option to that allows Users to visit the Most Recent Unread Post First?

I have a stuck file move task that got to 79.61% and has stayed there. This is a move from S3 -> server file system. It is throwing a "MySQL server has gone away" in the log when I try to run it manually. Only the SQL server hasn't gone away... my site is operating fine otherwise. I've restarted SQL, I've restarted the server, but that task remains stuck. I've run a table optimization on my entire database (I didn't expect this to do anything, it was more to test the SQL server under some additional load), and it was completed without issue. Invision itself doesnt show it as unsupported unless you click on Marketplace. After upgrading it took me a while to find what throws the 500 error for commerce/store/customer view. In case other experience the same issue.

Hello! Found something weird, not sure if anyone else is getting it or if I'm doing something wrong. But I have a Pages database with the Publish Date field activated. I'm trying to populate this database with backdated historical articles. The IPB system is letting me do this... eventually. But for the entire system to accept it I have to publish and edit the record several times. Here are the replicable steps: Step 1: Create new story as normal via Pages interface. Hi there, I'm setting up some commission products under Commerce. I added a main product "animation" and wanted to use the "custom fields" to add "extra options" for the customer to choose from -or- add to the main product before checkout. Now, the part on adding "custom fields" and linking them to the main product under "Stock & Price Adjustments" wasn't a problem. I ticked off the "Use different stock levels and prices depending on custom field values" and added the price to each "extra option" and saved it. 1. Start by being logged out of both the forum and oauth identity provider. 2. Visit forum directly, click "Login with ....com". You will be redirected to a identity provider login 3. Just upgraded and notice there is a new function to purchasing. Since the upgrade I have noticed for a while that under PAYMENTS>"Invoices" I would see orders "Pending" for subscriptions or purchase of products. Just yesterday I saw another, so I decided to attempt to make a self purchase using PayPal. I saw this window and noticed there is a approval process But I'm not receiving a notification email that someone made a purchase, I just happened to catch under PAYMENTS > Transactions where I saw my, and a customers purchase waiting to be approved. Hello, I'm running a self hosted community for a while now (https://forum.bjbikers.com/) and I am looking into how forum is handling image uploads, since my forum members are running out of storage quota. My forum instance is using ImageMagick for compressing uploaded images and it is working just fine, meaning that compressed images (.thumb. files) are much smaller in filesize and the forum is using those ones instead of the original files inside posts and topics. However, what I am seeing is that even though the forum is using the compressed image, original is still kept and also the filesize of the original image is counted against the user quota. Why …
