In commerce, a support ticket having supporter assigned get the association lost upon reply. This is unwanted behavior as association should be removed manually, not cleared upon first reply.
When assigning a ticket to a user, ensure that the "Lock to this staff member" option is set. When set, this will force the ticket to be assigned to that person regardless of who replies.
