I'm still unable to assign a theme to a specific URL or content inside a URL (which you could do in IPB3 using the URL Skin Mapping tools... at least I think this was what it was called). I'm also unable to assign a specific theme to a Pages category. Has anyone figured out how to go about this? For example - I'd like to show a Buffalo Bills skin, every time someone views an article with the phrase "buffalo-bills" in the URL. And, assign a Buffalo Bills skin to a specific Pages page. Not quite sure how to go about this in IPB4. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I upgrade our forums to 4.0.13.1, for the most part everything went smoothly except a few files which failed to copy the first time. Anyway the upgrade process continued right up until a regular upgrade would finish, but instead of finishing it gave me a NO_STEP error. The forum is working, and they application tab in the ACP says 4.0.13.1, so I assume it finished, but just threw the error anyways. My main worry is if this is an issue, and I am worried that when 4.1.0 is released that we may run into issues. Any ideas? Or is it really nothing to worry about?

I want to let users who can't see hidden posts know that there was a post that has been hidden. So at the end of the postContainer template I added this: {{if $comment->hidden() AND $comment->canUnhide()}} This message has been hidden. {{endif}} To me as an user with permission to view and unhide hidden content, that simply shows "This message has been hidden." after the hidden message. So then I tried this line: {{if $comment->hidden() AND !$comment->canUnhide()}} This message has been hidden. {{endif}} Obviously I no longer see the message after the hidden post. After completing a test upgrade from 3.4.7 to 4.0.13, I've noticed that the member_seo_name column in the core_members table is now.... empty. Aside from the user I've been testing with, which is the sole user that has a value. This value was present in my 3.4.7 database and is rather necessary to some of the reports I run. All post-upgrade background tasks have completed... what gives? Is there a way to manually rebuild this value? Why would it get flushed?

Ok 4.0.x pages am i correct saying if your forum url is forum.domain.com and your main page (Pages) is domain.com it should work with https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/administration/pages/using-pages-under-your-community-root-r100/ ? or am i missing a item because at moment all i get is all files uploaded to public_html/forum part from the index.php (index_rename.php) is in public_html/

Hi, How do I set my IP Page to be my homepage (root), e.g, http://www.mydomain.com & forum as subdomain, e.g, http://forums.mydomain.com I am able to do so by setting my IP Page as default but my forums address will be http://www.mydomain.com/forums/, this is what I don't want.

I have 4 IPBoard Forums and am considering using the SSO option of IPS Connect. I do have a few questions for anyone that might be using it. I plan on doing a test with my least used forums prior to migrating to my bigger boards. If I do a test of one forum as the Master will there be any issues of changing it to a slave later? I know for sure that I have multiple users that have separate logins on each of my boards. Many with the same username. Will this cause issues? Hello, As I was looking to develop some plugins, I've seen the best way to test it with an IPS installation would be to install IPS locally. So that's what I did. I've installed MAMP - running Nginx - (as I've seen in another topic here that it is what some staff uses) and I've copied my licensed copy from my live server to localhost as well as the database. I've changed the settings in conf_global.php, gave some permissions, and the forum homepage seemed to be working. At least, until I've clicked any link. URL rewrite was not working at all. Hey Guys, Is there a way to limit the number of characters a member can use for an image title in the gallery? Or limit the number of title characters displayed in the gallery widget? All I can seem to find is the "Tasks" view - which doesn't seem to be reachable itself from the actual admin navigation, I had to search for it... How would I do something like rebuild counts, etc.? Hello All, I would like to inform you that after upgrading from 4.0.13.1 to 4.1.0 Beta the Editor content text area does not appear on edit or new topic. In ACP when editing the default theme There are no icons available for any Default, Tablet, Mobile, also the restore default function does not work. Another issues is that ads appear for all groups even if I set to not show to Administrators. P.S. I am using Mozilla browser on Windows 7 with the Default IPS4 style Thanks!

Sorry, I know I posted this already, I used the My Content stream, but didn't see it. Users are trying to post images from their phones, and they are often sideways. They look correct when they select them, but not once the post is submitted. This happens with both Android and iPhone. How can I help them post correctly?

Hello all, In hope of migrate my IPB 3.4, I want convert my database (actually in latin1) in utf-8. For that, I have used the utf8convert tool. But I have a problem. Conversion works fine, but when I replace the suffixe and I add $INFO['sql_charset'] = 'utf8'; in my conf file, I have a blank page... Have you ever had this problem?
