Hi, i've setup just now a small guestbook with pages: https://laltroweb.it/guestbook/ Issue: 1) more (full article) is present also if article contain a simple "test" (i think is best to setup only after some chars...); 2) comments are disabled, but i see "0 comments" in all articles :/ Is there any way to fix? thanks in advace, S.N.

Im trying to customize a page i have created but im stuck because working with url field is a pain in the ass there no way to add elements inside links and the link to be controlled with the field for example i have this in my template <a href=" {$record->customFieldDisplayByKey('clan_website', 'display')|raw} "> <div class="pmi_title2"> {$record->customFieldDisplayByKey('clan_name', 'display')|raw} </div> </a> the clan_website field is a url field but the url field already adds the link inside a tag and if i choice a text field type the out put adds <wbr> tags between the link any idea?

I have LOTS of events I need to add to various calendars I have created on IP.Calendar and was wondering if there was a way to enter information into a spreadsheet and then import this into a selected calendar? I can't see it being too complicated as it's just inserting information into a database table at the end of the day! Can this be done through Cpanel/ PhpAdmin etc?? Kind Regards, Paul.

I'm really struggling here. The issue is that I'm able to reproduce it in one environment, but not in the other. Both environments are pretty much equal. If a topic title contains a norwegian letter, like æ, ø or å, then when I select posts with the checkbox and choose "Hide" in the options, it redirects to the following error message: Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F173/I However, that does not happen when the title does not contain a norwegian letter. Thing is.. this issue is on one installation and not the other. We have a 3 month subscription set up that required Paypal as the payment method. We have it set up to issue the renewal invoice for the same $ amount with a 5 day grace period. But now when you click to renew the subscription it is showing check as a payment option alongside Paypal. How can I remove the check option from the renewal payment? Thanks,

Hi guys, I made an admin group for our admins and wanted to enable them to lock and move threads in certain forums / sub-forums. Right now it seems they do not have access to lock threads or move them. I am using the latest ips 4 and I can't seem to find out how to do this, any idea?

Has anyone had an issue with the Twitter Embed? I'm only getting a white box with nothing in it. My YouTube embed works great... videos show fine. I'm running the latest version without any mods. I've also updated cURL to the latest version. Is it possible to insert a block into an article? I already tried the tag "{block="block_id"}" in text mode and in HTML, but it didn't get parsed in the article. I've multiple explanations and security warnings, which should show up in several articles. I would like to have them stored at a central place to easily maintain them. Hi there. I'm frustrated I haven't been able to find this on my own, but somehow that's just not working. But in case my subject line was unclear, I'd like to add some text/instructions into the modal form that pops up when you are signed in as a user, click on your own profile, then click on the "Profile Photo" icon. The modal that pops up says "Profile Photo," then you have the "Photo Type" options, which (at least the way my board is configured now) include Upload Photo, Import from URL, and Remove Photo. Hello, After I upgraded to version 4.1.7, I cannot see the voters name, even if it's enabled to make voters name public. Hi there! First post here, first time I've had to ask a question. I've got the content management system on my site which I've only just started using as the primary focus for us is our forum. The one problem I have is the background on the published articles, it doesn't have one, so all that I get is the background that's set for the actual forum template with the article text over the top, this makes it difficult to read. See here What I would like is for articles to have the same semi-transparent background as the forum does on my template. Is this easy to do by adding some CSS to the article? Let's say I have a 'products' database set up, and this database has a field called 'serial_number'. I want to set up a serial number search using IPS's internal search mechanisms. I know the the search code is a module located under the 'core' application, but I still need to figure out how to utilize it. Can anyone give me some pointers? Starting today, whenever I try to edit a post in a topic, it shows a brief spinning wheel, then Quote Edit Options disappear. It will, however, let me edit the first post of a topic. Updated to 4.1.7. No plugins. When I edit a comment on a IP Content Page, the same result. Very odd. I've tried Safari and Chrome. Same result.
