How long does it take for an Upcoming Calender Event to post or show up in the sidebar/block if enabled? Im sure there is a time lapse, but it's been well over an hour since I created a couple Calendar Events and they aren't showing up. Assuming there isn't a glitch and they do post, what is the mechanism that creates this delay and how can an Admin speed up the process if possible?

Something happened recently, and I'm not sure what or when. I have an S3 bucket set up as a file store in my ACP for my IP.Downloads files. Everything was working fine, but lately my downloads broke and I get an error from S3 saying "The bucket you are attempting to access must be addressed using the specified endpoint. Please send all future requests to this endpoint" and suggests a different URL. If I paste said URL into my address bar, the download works. I tried dropping that URL into my "Custom URL" in the ACP, but it did not fix it. Any ideas?

Yesterday whilst upgrading to the latest version, the upgrader reported an error logging into Amazon S3 where i store my uploads. I switched back to storing uploads on my server, and the upgrade worked. No attachments visible on my forum though. Thing is, cant seem to use S3 anymore, but it was working perfectly yesterday before the upgrade. All setings seem fine.. I've raised a ticket, which was immediately escalated last night but still my forum has no attachments and members cant upload pics. VERY annoying. Anyone else using S3 whos had a troublefree update to the latest version?

I am on IPS Cloud hosting. Perhaps I don't have it configured properly... but I seem to recall this service having Spam protection. How does something like.... "BUY COUNTERFEIT MONEY ,REAL AND FAKE DOCUMENTS" ...in the title get past the Spam filter? Getting a lot of this.

Is this actually how its supposed to work? But if I sign out on my phone, I am still logged in on my computer (as I would expect to be). So why when I sign out on my computer am I logged out on my other device? I have just tested it on these forums and this isn't the case, I seem to stay logged in on my phone.

After upgraded IPS to the latest version I got some strange chars in title tag. It's all loading like normal, but after a few seconds title tag is being preceded by this: ❚❚. When I click on tab, it disappears, but shortly after it can appear anyway. Worth noting, this is a Firefox-specific thing. Actually FF 48.0.1. It's not really a big problem, though I'd like to keep my meta tags clean.

We've been having some trouble with our profile pages on our site. The default profile stacks all custom fields into the left sidebar, but we'd like them to be moved into the "About Me" tab. Currently the "About Me" tab only pulls through the about me description and if you add other "profile information" fields they either create a new tab if its an Editor piece, or if it's something like a multiselect - then the fields become sidebar items. Hey! I was wondering if anyone had an easy way of setting up the "New Images" on the front page (IP.Content (as it looks on the gallery page)). I know about the gallery image feed block but I am more into a way of having the "New Images" on the front page of IP.Content as well as on the gallery page. Greetings. This is something I have been aware since IPS 3.4.7 I was told that some information was appearing in search and it shouldn't. It was hard for me to test it since users don't normally give you much info, they don't know how the ended up getting those results. Today a user sent me a few clues of what she was seeing, and was very upset because she thought that content had been deleted. In fact, the content was not deleted, just moved to a forum hidden from users, search and moderators. According to what she showed me, this is what I found out. When adding an event that is around three months in advance the date selected is always incorrect and is always a day and an hour behind of the actual date and time I select. For example: If I select November 1st, the October 31st is shown. The same with the time, if I select a time range from 15:00 to 17:00, the Calendar displays 14:00 to 16:00.

im having this odd repetitive issue consistently with the same customer, i have no idea how or what exactly he does; within minutes of visiting the site he gets locked out, there is no extended info with the auto lock action, i have had him reset his password several times, i gave him special permissions, but nothing helps; he still manages somehow to get himself locked repetitively, is there a way to find out what triggered auto lock action? or possibly record his session so it can be further investigated? "extra info" option in this situation would be very helpful for investigating further, TIA Chris

I'm trying to create an automated daily newsletter via Mailchimp from my RSS feeds. The problem I'm facing is that IPB's RSS feeds pull the entire article into the feed, instead of a limited amount of content. Is there a way to alter the RSS feed to only pull the meta description? This would allow me to show an article title and meta-description on the newsletter - as opposed to the title and entire article. Sidenote: I would simply use the title and the article image, however, the way it's setup now, I have to have the content showing in order to pull the image... so it's essentially not an option for me.

I have a ticket open with support here, but I feel like I'm being told it works for us so not our problem. I'm coming to the community for some help. This morning, all responsiveness for mobiles stopped working. Instead of shrinking down to 1 column like it normally does, it seems to be shrinking the entire site down into a mini desktop view for lack of a better term. They say it's a theme issue that I need to contact the author about. I have the bootstrap index.php file that will load a default pages file for the non invisionboard directory. The directory itself will no longer load a default module, it will also load the default pages page. E.G. domain.com/ and domain.com/invisiondirectory both load the default pages page. Anyone else run into this? It was working fine in 4.1.13. Thanks.

Hi all, Since V4.1.14 (and with 4.1.14.1) i can't reach the homepage of my website if adblock is enable. The browser (Firefox) is crashing. Other members get the same error with other browser. Other pages can be reach without trouble. Other thing, it doesn't happen if you are not logged (guest can reach the homepage), only registered members have the error. i didn't get this trouble with previous version of IPS.

My forum is in my root domain. If I purchased Pages and set that as the default app, could I make a home page that displayed on my root, but then forums would be navigable from that? In other words http://www.militaria...ectors.network/ would go to my home page done in pages, but to navigate to my forums, would I have to move the forums back to http://www.militaria....network/forums or would that all be handled automatically?
