There is a bug in RSS feed -> group permissions are ignored. If you have hidden rubrics for some member groups the rss feeds shows all topics. So you have to select every single rubric you wanna see or not in rss feed.

Is there a listing of "usable" coding that can take the functional place of the BBCode we lost? I keep reading that HTML will function within the CKEditor within the general perimeters, but I can't seem to get the simplest of functions like <img src="" align="left"> to work properly. I also tried using CSS with <div> coding and that failed too. Help?

We recently decided to start using a tagging system. Right now we're looking at tagging possibly thousands of posts individually. Is there a way that anyone knows of (plugin perhaps?) that would allow us to add a given tag to either all selected posts, or all posts on a single sub-board?

I opened a support issue, but they said it was out of the scope of what they support, so I'll post here. I need to do some bounced email cleanup. I figured setting "Send me news and information" to no for each user with a bad email would be sufficient. Looking at core_members, I assumed "allow_admin_mails" would be the answer. However, switching "Send me news and information" on and off appears to do nothing to the value of that column. Where is "Send me news and information" in the database? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I just noticed something odd happening ever since I am on 4.1.14 Whenever I select some text, it starts to put "abc" continuously at the bottom of the post. However, this only happens whenever the "Quote this" pops up. Watch it happen in the video: Anybody has any idea what could be going on? This is the first time I've ever seen this happen

Hello ! How can I proceed to remove all topics subscriptions for one member ? In the ACP, I edited his account and in Notifications, I disabled all options. But This morning, I see in my WHM/Email/Email Queue Manager that this member is still being sent notifications (it's an email about the new content in one day)... So, how should I proceed now ? I've turned off the "Use https for login and AdminCP" setting but when hitting http://www.mysite.com/forums/index.php?/login/ it still redirects to the https login url. Any other reason why this would happen?

I am having a little problem with my database on pages. From what I can see any articles are only visible to Admin. So when I view the front page (using the Database block, with the Articles Database with 3 records in) Views as an admin it displays as expected. However, when viewed as a forum member, or guest, it doesn't display anything on the page. I have checked the database permissions, and guests and members (as default) can both see the database and view records. However, as soon as I login as admin, the page is populated with the records and displays as desired. If i go to 'Page' then articles.html and click permission, all are ticked. So i a…

I am looking to display a single article in pages. From what I can understand, all I seem to be able to display on a page is the categories within database, or a feed of multiple articles, however I'm having trouble in creating a page and then displaying a single article contained in the database. How would I go about this?

Hello ! My error logs are full of messages linked to downloads on my board. When I click on one link, I get an error : For instance, if the link is : mywebsite/files/file/29-séquence-sur-lélectricité/?do=download&csrfKey=7ba7b6578ac63ae2aa12ea67d8b97e26 I remove the end and I turn it into : mywebsite/files/file/29-séquence-sur-lélectricité/?do=download Then I get a page which is in the IPDownloads : But If I click on "Download this file", I once again get the CSRF key error... I'm currently using PHP for my registration email sending method, which has proved extremely unreliable. Of about 150 registrations we got one day, only 100 or so registration emails actually sent. I'm trying to switch to SMTP but I get an error message when I do saying a test message could not be sent. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi. Is there any way for me to change the text features that the forums in my site offers? For example, my site has a marketplace. Hi folks, I've recently encountered an error while trying to update a description to each of my forums. Should be a simple task, but I get this result: Column 'autoreply_authorid' cannot be null (1048) It wasn't acting this way a week or so ago. Anything have the faintest idea what this could have yielded from? Thanks! Edit: Apparently it DID save the changes I needed; however, that error remains. Personally I'd like to eliminate the error despite getting the saved changes.
