Good evening, An issue was brought to my attention tonight, and I wanted to put it here before I raise a ticket. A member informed me they were unable to edit their signature. I thought it was weird because I could see and edit their signature. It wasn't until I tried to edit my own signature that I noticed the issue. For some reason, editing of own signatures is impossible outside of adminCP, which is a problem because not everyone has access to that CP. Is there a setting I have missed somewhere? Pretty much as stated. I have a member who has posted thousands of photos. Now he is causing trouble, and I need to ban him. But all his photos are linked to his Flicker account. So, I am afraid he will just delete them all - or prevent us from seeing them somehow. Is there anyway to convert (upload) those photos to my server/software and save as attachments???

Ive never ran SSL before and had no issues at my last host. Moved to a new host and now getting an error on PayPal and Stripe. Im pretty sure its a host issue but i have no clue what to even ask them to turn on or change. Hi All, I was wondering if there is a way to only allow moderators to see reports for activity under the forums that they moderate? Currently I've run a test and the only way is to allow a moderator to see all reports. It does not let the moderator then edit the content, but they can still change the status of the report. Is it possible to adjust the base_url setting from conf_global during page rendering? I'd like to offer the ability for members to enable HTTPS at their discretion, but since we have a few still on Windows XP and we use CloudFlare, I can't enable it globally.

I've just installed the third great custom plug-in from @onlyME to improve the navigation of Pages records. This one is a "rollover preview" of the record's content, similar to the built-in rollover preview of topic contents in the forums. As shown below, my cursor is sitting on the record titled Wonder-Boy Features, where the link has changed colors, and a preview of its contents has popped up. This plug-in is a simple installation, requiring only a change to one line of code in the default Listing template to invoke it. On the front-end, users can narrow/filter by both forums and calendars when creating activity streams... The back-end admin interface, for creating global activity streams, does not appear to allow this type of filtering... Why?

I reported to IPS that their registration page (/ips/registration/) is not a secure page, even if I have selected my login and admin areas to be https in the board settings. I think we can all agree that this is a HUGE bug--you can't ask for personal data via a non-secure page. My site's rankings have dropped recently due to this, and I received warning from Google about it. "Beginning in January 2017, Chrome (version 56 and later) will mark pages that collect passwords or credit card details as 'Not Secure' unless the pages are served over HTTPS. I seem to have a guess/guests reporting my members in spite of the permissions set disallowing that action. As well, most users are being served the toolbar notification that there are reported users, not just the admin (myself) and the 4 moderation accounts. What do?

OK, my conversion is all done. I now want to do the redirect but the instructions in the help files is confusing. I converted Xenforo which only has 2 files in the redirect folder index.php and proxy.php. There is no config file to make changes to as in the directions in the help file. Do I just overwrite the files in my installation with these two files?

Okay guys a bit if assistance needed here. I may be missing the obvious but in IPS 4.1.x is there a way of mass deleting old file attachments from the forums? I can do a search to show old attachments I want to prune but it looks like they have to be deleted individually. I've got 57 pages of files I want to prune so that would be a nightmare to complete. Any tips would be appreciated.

Is it possible to somehow force HTTPS for visitors except those running XP, or allow specific users to enable SSL for themselves? I purchased an SSL certificate for my site and set everything up, but because I use CloudFlare they "proxy" that certificate even if I have one of my own (upgrading to a plan where I can change that costs $200/mo). I would like to use HTTPS for the whole site, but I do have a couple users still on XP that would not have access as a result. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My forum was hijacked! I have NO CLUE what to do It's a starting forum, and has seen quite success, this will destroy us,. So, www.a7xforum.com - redirects on mobile, try it. Even on chrome, if you go to dev console and click preview as phone or whatever, it will do it! Any ideas why? Thanks a ton!
