Hi, When creating an event with a date between 27th of march to 29th of october for the years 2017 and 2018, the date showing is always one day before. For example, if I set 27 march 2017, it shows 26 march 2017 (see picture) IPB version : 4.1.16.1 (I will update soon to 4.1.17.1) Is it a known bug ? Is it a bug from the server ?

Hi I need to either access the ips4_member_id cookie browser side or set an additional cookie with the same data, but where is the cookie generated for login? I want to use this data to setup Google Analytics and UserId but the existing IPB cookies are set to HttpOnly so I can't access the data. Cheers

I have been working with IPB for a number of years. Currently I am pushing the software to manage a large website with many pages. Just yesterday I noticed a subsection of my pages that was blank. Previously I had about 12 pages in this folder or subsection, then all html files were just gone. I checked the DB, no errors, nothing. I had not been working in that area of the website for a period of time, so I was unable to discover the last time those pages were there. I am the only admin on the site and I cannot imagine what happened. Any ideas?

Hello, I've just gotten a Linux hosted website from Godaddy, and I believe I've set it up properly. It was giving me the "a-okay" to start installing my files. But now that all my IPB files are transferred, I'm getting a http 500 error. Says my install/index.php does not exist/cannot be found. I'm new to Linux hosting, is there a nice guideline out there for me to follow for installing Ip.Board on Linux?

I am in the process of migrating our vbulletin 3.x instance to the latest version of IPS. We ran the import and tried to login with test accounts we had on the old site and they did not work. Looking at the database I see that the password and salt were copied over in a column called conv_password and conv_password_extra respectively and members_pass_hash and members_pass_salt are null. Is it not possible to transfer passwords over to the new system or am I missing something?

Hello, I am running a store through my IPB and have a product that is set for auto-renewal every 30 days. I want to limit each customer to only 1 purchase of these active at a time. I know there is the "Allow users to purchase more than one?" setting under "Store and Purchase Settings", however, our packages expire the day after the 30 days is up. There is no grace period which is necessary for what I need. So my question is: If a customer purchases a 30-day product and lets it go to the "expired" status. Will they be able to purchase a new one of these products if I have "Allow users to purchase more than one?" turned off? Or will that expired subscription cou…

So I am using a few separate databases to input unique data so I can include it within pages along with those new fields I want to collect and present. I am placing a copy of the entry into a Forum section so I can collect comments for the users concerning the DB entry. The problem I am having is that when we create the DB entry and select, locked, pinned, featured, or hidden, these statuses only seem to apply to the entry as it is in the DB. None of these statuses transfer to the forum version that is creates. Maybe this is how it was intended to work, but I cant see why I would want the presentation linked, but in a different state? Is there currently a collapse feature built into IPBoard? What I want to do is allow users to collapse blocks (I can change the CSS/HTML for the blocks). By Collapse I mean press a button to minimise the content if a viewer isn't interested. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm trying to add a database column when installing a custom plugin and it is not working. I get no errors when installing the plugin yet the database column is not added. Hello, I am having some issues with translation, more precisely the part where it says "You and X others like this". How it works in English: However in my language (bulgarian), You and the number are combined and there is no "and" between them: Any idea what went wrong? I have looked at all possible strings to see if I missed something, but everything looks ok. We purchased simple mod in the marketplace that allowed members to view the contents of a forum in IP.Board 3.x , if they had 10 posts. It was a great incentive for participation. Noticed in IPS4 you have a similar option but the forum is not visible until the nominated posts are made first. Is there a way that a member can see the forum but not the threads/posts until they reach the desired number of posts?

Hellow guys, I see followinf error in sidebar top: [[Template core/front/global/widgetContainer is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] But there are no blocks/widgets even set to be displayed in sidebar. How to debug, why this error appears? I am surprised I cant find a thread on this, however in the run up to migrating to V4 we would like to do a bit of a PR exercise to sell the upgrade to the members, to offset the resistance to change and inconvenience of the migration process. Can people who have effected the change make some comments on the benefits of the new version to members, particularly those more averse to change! This can include benefits to the site staff, as the members are on the whole very supportive of our moderators. Daniel

any one knows how to do this so when they make a comment they cant post any links just make a comment on the topic like if you look on editor and where it shows links you cant remove because than it removes for the hole forums so i guest the only way to do this is to have Your content will need to be approved by a moderator

what would cause this issue i cant seem to make this work i upload the twitter but it than will tell u to redownload your ipb but that will not fix it Some of the source files for IPS Community Suite have been modified. public_html/system/Login/Twitter.php >>>>> Twitter.php witch i download it and upload still having issues This can be normal if you have applied a patch to these files, however if you do not recognize the changes, you should download an unmodified copy of those files and upload them to your server. Once that is done, check if the problem persists.
