When clicking on a validating members email address I get this error-- The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. To configure who can access which areas of your site, go to Admin CP → System → Applications. All permission have been set for the "Applications" for me as admin, so why does this not work? Hi, I was on shared hosting from Site Ground but recently moved to a Linode. I followed the instructions and moved the website over. However, now only my homepage works. If I try to go to the forum index, I get an error: Same for any other URL on the website. Only the home page loads. I cannot even login to the website. Also when I try to log into the admin CP, I get this error: Any suggestions?

Hi there I've just bought IPS forums and I'm in the process of transferring over 1.5mil posts. When that's done, can my users start using the forums? Or do I need to wait for the cron/background tasks to reindex everything. Before purchasing I did some testing and I'm aware that's going to take hours, even days. I'm just trying to minimise downtime for them! Thanks

When I visit my forum in Firefox, the forum seems to spam the Firefox browser with a request to display notifications, and the browser keeps asking me to confirm or deny this on every page load. It's highly annoying. Why is this happening and how do I completely disable these notification requests?

Greetings; Managing an old community, recently upgraded to 4.x and I have an issues with the Avatar size that shows on left block in posts. it's not showing the full picture. In previous version of ipboards it was easy to Show users full photo in topic view; maximum width Anyone has a clue on how to do it in 4.x ?

I already trust IPS Community Suite. I sold my previous site and license but I have experience and love the product. Now I'm starting something new, but people want native apps and currently the only solution I found was Tapatalk. I know the app is basic, but if it works smoothly, that's all I need to know before purchasing an IPS license. Of course I could ask them, but of course they would say, it works. Just upgraded and noticed that when there are members viewing a certain topic/post that the forum no longer shows at the bottom who is viewing. I have searched the marketplace and could not find anything, or is there a setting in the ACP? My members miss that feature. if there is a plugin/widget could you post a link to it please? Thanks

So I've tried to open page builder on my homepage and it pops up with the URL at the top as my URL following "?&_blockManager=1" but it doesn't pull up the block manager. It works on my other two pages, however.

So, I assume IPS took that feature out when 4.x came out? I just lost a month's worth of stats I was transferring over from notepad on my phone into a post because I deleted them as I typed the contents into the editor, then somehow my browser went backwards to another page and lost all my data. This was a very useful feature for this same type of situation, where the browser screws up. Now I'll never have these stats.

I have a support ticket in about this, but thought I would seek help from the community as well. I need help understanding how e-mail notification settings work. The complaint from my members is that even though they have gone to the notifications page and changed "Method to use for content I follow automatically" to "Do not send me notifications" and unchecked e-mail from all settings in the notifications page, they are still getting e-mail digests. I checked the "Manage followed content" page for some of the users who can't seem to resolve this and noticed pages and pages of followed content, with the notifications set to a variety of daily/weekly/monthly…

Today I changed the website password from my client, and tried to log in as an Admin. The site has stopped loading completely for my IP address. Anyone that uses my wifi cannot connect to my website. However my website loads fine for everyone else. It keeps telling me that it is timed out. Can someone direct me on how to log into my site? This site can’t be reached enchantedliterature.invisionzone.com took too long to respond. Search Google for enchanted literature invisionzone ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Apparently it is a firewall block. Does anyone know how many times you must fail the password to be locked out?

Hello! I have problems adding css styles to my blocks (like portal - Home/Portal) in IPS 4.1.x. Reading the Guides, there is some talk about "custom.css" which - according to the guide - "... Instead, all of your changes should live in the custom.css file at /core/front/custom/. You can create other CSS files within the custom directory if you wish and these will also be included. CSS files in the custom directory are not modified by the IPS4 upgrader, meaning your changes will safely persist across versions. ..." Okay ... but where is /core/front/custom? It does not exist on the file system - there is ../application/core/ but no "front" beyond that one. …
