Just a quick heads up that if anyone else is using aMember integrated with inVision then the aMember plugin isn't compatible with 4.2. 4.2 drops the member_login_key field from core_members - and aMember uses this for syncing data. I have logged a support request with aMember.

I'm bumbling around trying to get a last-edited line to show by default on record display. The database is set up wiki-style and I want good visibility of when the last change was made and by whom. Members have 'ability to edit silently' turned off at group level. When I edit as admin I see a checkbox to 'Show that the message has been edited' — I guess I'd like the equivalent of having that checked by default for every user. If I log in as a test user it doesn't show any edits I make. Just upgraded to 4.2....it was easy to promote posts to Facebook, etc. with a click of a button at the bottom of my forum. They have now disappeared? Also, how do I get that grid/table option to show up next to the New Post green button at the top of the forum? Thanks!

I've made a support ticket but thought I'd ask if anyone else has this problem. After upgrading to 4.2 the unread content feature is not working for quite a few of my users. It's working for me in Chrome, but not in Opera, even though the Invision Site (ie, this forum here) does work. Strange. Anyone else got the same problem?

Hi all! After upgrading to 4.2 the notifications stopped working.. It keeps loading when pressing and when you press ''View all notifications'' it gives an error. Page System log I tryed to change the unread notifications to 1 month but that didn't work. Also tryed to disable the news addon, did not work. Also.. I've tryed to update (rewrote) all IP files. 4.2.1 Can't Use Default Theme Editor if Using Dark Background Unless I am doing something wrong, when you try to edit the 4.2 default skin's background to #000000 (all black), the frame of the forum will be black while the center portion of the forum remains white - perfect. Since the center part of the forum is white, you'll have to set the Base Text Color to #000000 black (or a dark colour), otherwise you won't see the post count, forum description, who started a certain post, etc. since they are against a white background. Hello all, I'm trying to add the CKEditor plugin Wordcount - but I'm having issues getting it to activate. I've installed it and the notification plugin through my ACP (and if I try to do it again it confirms that it is already installed) and I've double-checked that all of the files are on the FTP, yet neither of these are working. Am I missing a step to activate these plugins for my editor? Thanks!

I have a domain registered with Google Domains and set the name servers (DNS) according to the IPS Cloud instructions. Unfortunately this disables the Google email support. How can I setup email addresses on my domain? It seems IPS does not include this, so is there a way to adjust the DNS settings to allow it? EDIT: is email forwarding at least supported?

Hi guys, I upgraded today to 4.2 as many of you, and I am trying to fix the several little bugs that showed up due to our customizations. One of them is regarding custom blocks in the sidebar, available via Pages. Basically, any custom block gets a gray frame that I don't want, and I don't know how to fix this issue. With the new default layout, any block you add in the sidebar gets this gray frame and a lighter background, which didn't happen in the 3.4 series. See the attached screenshots. Hi ( dummy here again sorry) When setting up the allow cover photos for profiles it asks me for maximum photo cover size in KB. I want my members cover images no more than 1014 pixels wide so as not to break the site. How does the pixels size translate into kb?

I have just updated my forum to 4.2 and found quite large reaction icons: Digging a little bit deeper into it, I found, that the update didn't leave any "ipsReact*" CSS styles anywhere. So of course the reactions are not displayed properly. Question is: is there a chance to get the needed CSS styles posted here so that I am able to paste them manually? Many tanks in advance!
