Hello, since IPS 4.2.1 sometimes appears the tab "More" in Menu. But there are the same number of tabs, and sometimes appears all tabs and no "More" tab. How to prevent this? I don´t like "More" tab and I do not understand why this happens

I am in 4.1 and haven't upgraded yet to 4.2. (I plan to soon, I have reasons for the delay, that's not the point). I've found myself administrating and moderating my Board on my iPad 95% of the time as opposed to my desktop iMac. I noticed you can't upload a new ad file using an iPad, when creating a new ad in the native IPS advertising application. You choose to upload a file and hit Choose Single File...and nothing, nada. I created a low priority Ticket to see if this was true, and haven't gotten a sufficient answer. I added to that ticket that at the least I would like to know if this issue is corrected in 4.2. Hello, I've been hosting my community with these forums for about a week now and I'd like to know if there's any way to force log-in people with Steam or some kind of authentication method. I am well aware that we can use plug-ins/applications or add-ons like this Lavo's Steam Authentication option but I'd like to know if there's any way to enforce it. As of right now in log-in handlers, the default one for IPB is locked and set to default so there's no way from my understanding to edit it. If anyone has any clue or has experimented with this, I'd be more than pleased to read your response.

Hi all, I run a cloud-hosted forum, with the default URL being: forums.premed101.com I just installed the Chatbox app. Now, when my users enter forums.premed101.com for mobile or desktop, it goes immediately to the Chatbox app, rather than the main forums homepage. Does anyone know what setting I need to change to make forums.premed101.com go back to the main forums homepage? Similarly, when clicking on the main title bar, it goes to the Chatbox app, rather than the main forums homepage. Thanks! Ian

I have a club, which has created an events calendar. They have posted an event and it appears in the activity feeds. The club event is not listed in the main calendar (all), neither is it listed in the upcoming events feeds. How do I rectify this?

Hi there, some users asking me why their account is banned. But I don't have banned. Users report that sometimes they get the message "You do not have permission to view this site", next time they come they can use my site. I was looking for permissions in guest group but there's nothing changed since years. Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

I love the concept of the clubs and how they can work for our site. However, it causes confusion as we deal with a a lot of clubs and societies and our online 'clubs' would be distinct from physical clubs and societies. How can it be re-branded to 'Special Interest Groups' or similar?

I would like the sidebar to scroll until there is nothing else to view within the sidebar, then hold its place. Right now there is just a ton of empty space as the users scroll to the bottom of topics. Is this possible? It would greatly increase the viewability of advertisements increasing revenue.

Hello, I've done a lot of digging through old threads on here and on Google, but it seems none of the solutions are relevant anymore. I had done this on 4.1.x but since 4.2.x I can't for the life of me find where to hide the Group text in the post container. This is what I am talking about: Under the avatar on all posts, we have a custom group text for some of our admin/moderator ranks. If you notice above the image, it also says "Founder" - How do I remove that text from displaying on 4.2? For my mods, it says "Moderator" and so on right above the rank image. I have these items for sale where people by 1 - many of them. When someone makes an order and changes the the quantity to 8, I get 8 emails. It doesn't seem to happen on every purchase, yet all of the different products are copied from the original. It's not a big deal, as I use the Pay Pal log to deal with the orders. But does make finding things in Gmail really messy. JM

I am still running IPB 3.x and IPBHost has informed me I need to upgrade to 4.x. One of the current dealbreakers is that apparently IPB 4.x no longer supports display of primary and secondary group badges. A step backwards, sadly. I rely on this feature in 3.x to be able to show site donorship over the years (see attached image). How can I replicate this behavior in version 4.x? Thank you.

Hi, since the last updated, date doesn't work fine. It doesn't show YEAR... I found an error in the code, the symbol %s is missing at the end of the line in the key: _date_this_year_long I show you in a capture screen comparing with the other code above that is right... That error doesn't show the year in posts head... Same in the Activity Area... And same in the member profile, year doesn't appear there... Show you screen captures too... Any idea to fix that or you can fix in the next version????

I'm gonna post this here until i'm told to submit a ticket, due to me not wanting to waste IPS time So when 4.2.2 came out i had the Gallery App uninstalled but still in the list of apps on my board Now i have found a reason to use the Gallery app, but after reinstalling it, it says 4.2, but shows a message that i cant run the app due to it not being updated, please see cliente area for Full Community Suite download?? I've just installed 4.2.2 and have users complaining that they can't see the navigation FA icons. I can replicate it on my site using Opera Mini for android, but when I test it here it works. Same issue with IE I'm on a stock install with default theme so what is the difference?
