Hello In the Privacy section of the blogs when one chooses the members he wants who can access his blogs it seems like even admins with full access and full permissions cant view it, of course I can still see private blogs on the ACP but not access it Am i missing a setting somewhere? because if that supposed to be this way then I think it should change.

As of about a month or two ago (maybe from an update?) whenever I paste text from Notepad++ or regular Notepad into my forum it adds totally random spacing to the text. There's random spaces added; one approximately every 100-200 characters.

I recently changed the MAXIMUM RESULTS from 1,000 to 250 thinking that this would ease the strain on my server. It seems to have the opposite effect. I've gotten hundreds of these in the past few days. My hosting company looked into it and their response was: I changed it back to 1,000 and the errors seem to have stopped. Could someone kindly explained all this to me --- not too technically please Thanx Neil

Hey Guys, just wondering what your recommendation would be if you want to format your article or forum post with sub headlines. Currently the WYSIWYG Editor does not seem to support setting a paragraph to <h1>, <h2> etc. and just allows a font size which I find a bit odd, since this will not work well when changing layouts. Any suggestions? :) Thanks!

Hello, how can I use concatenate in query SELECT ? I have this query : $row = \IPS\Db::i()->select('*', 'cms_custom_database_' . \IPS\Settings::i()->site_ccd, array('member_id=?', \IPS\Member::loggedIn()->member_id)); But this doesnt work . Edit: How can I access variables in a file conf_global.php ? Because \IPS\Settings::i()->site_ccd return null, so this doesnt work

Hi crew. Trying to convert a mybb forum into a hosted IPS forum. Database login etc is fine, and I could convert profile fields and member groups, however when going to convert members it's asking for Path to MyBB installation. Nothing I put here is working. I found a post saying this should be an absolute path, but that doesn't seem to work either. For reference the existing installation is hosted on a windows machine. My forum folder is in htdocs\mybb . I've tried various paths from a full path including c:\, to the htdocs\mybb folder, or even just \mybb. No joy. Any ideas? Have filed a ticket, but no response yet.

Halfway through the update process, I got the following (500 Error) Call to undefined method ips\ips::cicTrackingId() I then went to my /upgrade folder so I can restart the upgrade process and on Step 1: Login, I get the following error: Call to undefined method IPS\Member::encryptedPassword() Now I am stuck and don't know what to do. My website is dead in the water. Anyone know what is causing this and how to get passed it?

In IPS 3, in my articles database, I had a lot of articles with friendly URLs containing characters such as "χ". After the IPS 4 conversion, these records still appear in the database and listing pages, but if I try to go to the record itself, I get this error: Is there anything I can do about this?

I am building a document model that features the ability to build a template beforehand and then insert it into a new document CKEditor. Within the document form, there is a node selector for choosing the template. How can I observe a selection of the node selector 'documents_template', and on selection, insert text into the editor 'documents_content'? I have some forums set to be viewed only with members who have 10 or more posts. This is the message everyone else gets: You do not have permission to view this content. Error code: 1F176/3 My question is, how can I change this error message to reflect the reason why they can't view the content? Thanks.

One of the questions I've been asked regarding the user interface for our newly-upgraded v4 platform is whether users can hide the side bar. Apparently at least one of our users used to do this with v3, but as far as I can tell, it's not possible with v4 (except globally). I thought I'd check here for a definitive answer, however! Kev

Hello . Can I still count on help in the old version? This is 3.3.4 version. I have a problem that when I go to the page with comments, I get an error HTTP ERROR 500. All of a sudden, my website has begun throwing this error every time one tries to post a new article and/or topic. The odd thing is that the article/topic still posts without an issue. After a while, the browser will go to the white screen displaying the Gateway Timeout 504 error display but if you go to the website, you will notice the article/post was created without a problem. I have rebooted my server, set my max_execution_time to 300 but the problem continues. Any ideas?
