Board Notifications Stopped

So for some reason the pop up board notifications on my desktop stopped. I checked in my profile and they are allowed. Any idea how to turn them back on? 

As far as I know I never turned them off, but at some point they stopped working. Is there a known issue with them?

You might have disabled them at the browser level for your community.

Thank you, I checked and the are enabled in the browser. Strange, is there a setting somewhere in my ACP?

I still never got these going again, and have tried everything...I suspect some board update may have caused this, and I will create a support ticket and report what I find here.
