I'm probably doing something dumb here so figured I'd ask the smart folks out there! My objective is use the REST API calls to dump group membership every month to automate some of our reporting. I'm trying to use Zapier to do this via their "webhooks" action. I've created a REST key for testing and granted it all access temporarily and am getting invalid API key errors on the Invision platform. I've tried to slip in a header with the API key using a bunch of headers I found on Google, from x-api-key, api-key, authorization, x-authorization and the equivalent using underscores to no avail. When users click "Whats on your mind" to post a new status it just stays on "Loading" I looked in the console log and it's showing a 404 error for applications/core/interface/js/js.php?src=core%2Finterface%2Fplupload%2Fplupload.full.min.js But I see the files there. Any ideas what could be going on?

Hi, when you try to edit the url of a linked file in downloads you run into an error. Found it on another site and was able to reproduce it on my own. Hi, I think this is more of a bug so didn't include it in my recent feedback post. If you switch to List View instead of Grid View, the truncated text of the product description is not showing anything at all, just the 3 dots.

I've got two communities running IPS, and in the last week, we're having some serious Captcha issues on both. I've selected the main site in the purchase drop-down above. On that site, we were hacked (in a small way, thankfully) about a month ago. We initiated a password reset for all members, and now the members are getting a "You did not pass the security check. Please try again." error when having to use Captcha for the Password reset and/or the Contact Us form. Captcha settings in the AdminCP are set to click "I'm not a Robot", however one member was asked to do the Captcha of selecting images from a grid over 20 times and still got the same error. ----…

My site is experiecing a surge in activity this morning and causing server load to go crazy. I remember there used to be a 'mode' you flip on that would disable features in order to speed up the site (or at least to temporarily reduce server load). Is this still a thing?

I am getting a HTTP ERROR 500 and the page is down. We recently removed all permissions from a parent forum (with several children forums) as a method of deprecation, without actually deleting the content. I'm noticing the content is still crawled by Google and shows up in searches (shows a 'You do not have permission to view this topic' message on the page). Is this something that will just take time for Google to know not to index, or do I have to delete the content / do something on the Invision side to prevent google from indexing it? Thanks!

Why won't and can't enable the login form captcha? We recently fell victim to a brute force attack. Someone purchased leaked emails and passwords from somewhere. And launched an attack to check if there is a registration on our site with the same email and password. Why is there no option to enable captcha for the standard login form? Lock accounts doesn't help. The email and password verification request is just one.

All my guest users are experiencing an EX0 error when they attempt to access any forum page. Any idea why this might be happening? Example: https://www.letsgosharks.com/forums/ (they should be seeing my forum home page which displays an index of my forums): I'm running v 4.4.9 There was also an alert (that I suppressed and won't be able to see until tomorrow) which mentioned there were some tasks that were not running because they are run when users visit my site, and this was the case because I had low user count (my forums are seasonal). Not sure if this is contributing to this issue.

The images that previously showed when creating a web app on a mobile device (for example saving the forum to home screen on an iPhone) or when saving to the bookmark favourites that previous appeared with my forum when on self hosting no longer appear, they were previously uploaded via FTP. Where within the admin section can I add these images? I can see favicon and share images which are there but not where to add the others. Thanks

Hi folks I still have a smf forum on another url (url X) that we now want to add to an existing IPS-forum (on url Z). When trying to convert this forum from external url, I cannot get it to accept the data provided: The details provided are not correct or the database is unavailable. So how to do this operation.... Can I backup my urlX database and build/add new database on urlZ, THEN convert and add threads to my existing forum?

I know this feature is sadly going away in v5, but I feel compelled to report this bug anyway. I'm going to call it a bug because I run 2 separate communities, and both installations of Invision have this issue. When Replying to a Status Update, after hitting Submit, the button will fade and read "Saving..." and it will just hang eternally. You have to give it a few seconds to trust that it may have been submitted, and refresh the page in order to confirm that it has. It's actually been this way for years and I should have reported it earlier. But I kept forgetting about it until I started a 2nd community and noted the same behavior.

I have users experiencing random errors that I can't personally reproduce like this. I'm gathering more screen shots of the error, but I believe they all say the same thing. There are no errors in the error logs, and I use the site with the phone and computer without any issues.

I get this error : 3C402/1 The server has been blocked due to too many failed requests with an incorrect key. Remove the servers IP Address from the Ban Filterslist, and it is recommended that any integrations be checked to ensure the proper key is being used. All previous integrations have been removed and the ban filter is huge, 13 pages, deleting it means doing it 1 by 1 as I didn't find another way to do it so it'll take a very long time.

Been experiencing this with several users, unsure how widespread it is. When I use 'Sign in as user' I see the error as well. We recently migrated to SaaS hosted, my best guess is that the affected users didn't validate their accounts prior to the migration. Can you create a ticket for me to help fix this and find all the affected users? Thanks!
