Hi all, We are using 4.4.10. Is there an out-of-the-box way to prevent users from reporting posts without entering any text? It is really annoying analyzing reports where users don't explain what is wrong with the post. Thanks

Is it possible to truncate the amount of text in a topic hovercard? For example, there may be 50 lines of text, but only 5 would be preferred to limit the length of the hovercard. With thanks

I have been looking into changing the websites background from a gradient color to a image. I am by no means proficient in css or html. If someone wouldn't mind maybe walking me through how to change the websites background I would appreciate the help.

I ACP I have very annoying issue, every settings, especially in member groups I have to save twice. For example Flood control for Moderators is enabled I toggle it to No and hit Save. I re-open settings and Flood control is enabled again. I disable it again, save and now it's saved. Has anyone met anything like this? It's very annoying when I change dozens settings and after saving I have everything without changes.

Hello, I'm a bit noob with API 😞,but i need it for my commerce. I want, when a customer lunch a my .sh script on his Ubuntu or Debian VPS, it will ask him the product key before start installation. I'm trying to write a Notifications API since the current Rest API returns older notifications first. I have a little problem on my admin panel .When i try to create language, i have this error: The chosen locale is not supported by your server. Your hosting provider or system administrator will be able to provide a list of the locales supported by your server I try to make FR translation and locale code for french translation is fr_FR but it's not work. Received the following message. How would I correct this? This occured after I performed a Windows Server update. I have no idea how to repair this. I've only recently switched over to Firefox from Chrome, and have just noticed an issue when pasting in a YouTube url into a post, it does not automatically convert it over into the video like how it does with Chrome. Is this actually a known issue with Firefox, or is this something maybe wrong on my end? Any feedback on this? Thanks everyone.

Hey guys, I have an older site where we've added a menu item, set it to "open in new window", works fine on desktop browser, but on mobile, it doesn't open a new window/tab. It's like this on the default theme too, so it's something with the IPS theme. I can go in and fix it manually, but I want to check if there's some option I don't remember on 4.2 or if this is normal... Thanks!

I have over 2000 paid subscriptions on my vB4 board that I need converting over to my new Invision site. Having done a couple of test conversions now, I've only just realised that paid subscriptions aren't part of the conversion. :( Looking at how I'd do this manually for a single user, I'd create a "paid" invoice for the user, adding the new subscription to it, then I'd have to edit the purchase to correct the expiry date. I'm not going to be doing that by hand 2000 times! Has anyone else successfully converted paid subscriptions or can offer any advice for writing my own conversion (i.e. what data is needed in which tables)

I'm just getting started with Invision and imagine someone has already addressed this.. but I can't find it! I am making a forum with restricted access for members only. Is it possible to set a default home page for guests, while keeping the forums as the default for logged in members? It seems to be one or the other regardless of status. Just thought I'd check to see if I'm missing something easy before doing it the hard way. Thanks!

I try to create forum with permissions: 1. One category with one forum 2. Logged user can create topics 3. Logged user can see only own topics 4. Guest must see category & forum header (with counters/last post) 1,2,3 - it works. 4 - category don't shows for guests. When option "Users can see topics posted by other users?" unchecked, i can't change forum permission for guests, checkbox inactive. Why is such mode impossible? Or did I miss something?
