Good morning, My forum was working fine this morning, i've just logged on and i'm getting Error Code 503, I am unable to log into AdminCP too so not sure what the problem is. I've emailed my host just incase its a problem their end. Another app on my server is working so I think it may be a Invision Forum problem. Are there any tools available to find out what is causing the error code and possibly disable all plugins? Many Thanks

Hi i have problem with my apc. Yesterday it was all fine and good. Today i login to ACP and got errors. I did not change ANYTHING so i dont know there to start. What is the best process for moving between 2 different servers and hosts? We're building the system on HOST.DOMAIN.COM and aim to deploy to PRODUCTION.DOMAIN.COM Are there tools or best practices to move the data to use the new host? Or is search and replace for the database our best method?

We have received multiple reports of multiple notification types acting erratically. I myself have seen this happen as well. Users and moderators are reporting on Pop-ups for months old PMs they have already read and replies to, Notifications in the notification panel for posts they've already viewed, and clicking on notifications takes them to a many posts before the one they were notified about. so far those are the three "errors" I've been told about, might be there are more. does anybody else encountered this behaviour and/or are the Devs aware of this?

Hi I would like to hightlight a plugin i recently ordered to @DawPi : This plugin automatically adds a noindex to all topics containing less than XXX words (lets say 100 words for instance) you can update the number anytime and reset the noindex This is a powerful SEO plugin that helps to avoid Google Panda penalty that might happen on communities with large numbers of thin content topics I recommend it !

Found out today that my own email will be used, when sending out warnings and such, and l was wondering what others have done? Or more to the point, have l missed something and there is somewhere in the CP/Admin where l can assign the site name email address? I don't really want to use one of my primary emails for a troll l have to ban for example, (l would get spammed to death). Counldn't find anything in the tutorial. Thanks.

As I understand it a Cuebanner is that bit of grey text which sits in a text box that maybe gives information or instruction and which disappears as soon as you click on it and start to type. You can see in the above right-hand corner of this Invision forum ā the search box with the word Searchā¦ written in it. As soon as you start to type the word disappears. It will be really nice to have a plug-in or application which could produce these. I'd like a Cuebanner to appear in the "title required" box of a new topic form and in the message area. Also in new user registration forms, for instance to remind people not to use their real name I'm sure there…

Just want to report the issue. ips/dev/Whoops/Exception/Inspector.php This file has this statement "xdebug_is_enabled()" https://xdebug.org/docs/upgrade_guide According to the docs, the function is removed now. Would be nice if IPS also update it's code now.

I've noticed it before, but passed it off as a mistake or hallucination, but seeing it now again, I have NO doubt - I have plugins disappearing on their own. Nothing was uninstalled, nothing at all was done, yet they disappeared. Anybody else had this happen?

I'm trying to rationalise our groups a bit. I have one group ā with about nearly 400,000 people and another group with about 5000. I'd like to merge the smaller group into the larger group and then eventually get rid of the smaller group. Has anyone any idea how this can be done please? Thanks

----- THE ISSUES 1) On the admin cp when I navigate to Themes, click on the dropdown arrow next to a theme, and select "edit html and css" none of the html template or css files show up. The panel where there is normally a collapsing list of these files is empty. Furthermore, editing the custom.css file and clicking Save produces an error popup that reads "this file can not be saved!". Same thing when attempting to edit the global html file. Hi there. Prior to the upgrade I confirmed that we were already on IPS4 and met the php/mysql version requirement. When we ran the upgrade last night while extracting the files from the Admin CP upgrade we encountered the following error "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':', expecting ';' or '{' in /XXX/XXXX/public_html/forum/init.php on line 923" I filed a support ticket but would also like to get this resolved quickly. For whatever reason our host site backup is not restoring to the previous forum version as well as manual downloading and sending the files via FTP. Hello people! In IPS 4.4.10 how do I go about making Pages my default home page? As with the older versions of IP.Content, I used to have my board in a subdomain, Iām assuming this is still the normal practice? So I have my board in forums.ugcclan.co.uk. No idea it's my end or what but it's been a year. Site doesn't not remember my password and information like how other sites works. Meaning going to the logging in page and it autofills in the information for you š But for me I have to type it in and it doesn't autofill š Using chrome, Seems at times it works for Edge fine. Seems it ME! LOL But other sites on chrome works just my site
