Is it written somewhere that explains the Blog system and hierarchy? I want users to only be able to post into one of the several Blog categories. So I don't want them to be able to "create a new blog". I have a few other questions but want to reference any guides that explain things. Understanding the hierarchy would help me understand this filing system this uses. Found this to review;

Hello, Hopefully a simple question and answer but I've added some products with Client Area info to download a digital file, as shown below. However, I can't find how/where to access any Client Area on the frontend. I've tried /ClientArea just like it is here on IPB. Any ideas?

Hey IC fam, got two little questions for you. tl;dr in bold. I use SendGrid to send emails from my community BreatheHeavy | Exhale. If someone unsubscribes from my newsletter (I send using Bulk Mail), then they also get unsubscribed from everything. Meaning, if they need to reset their password in the future, they can't because they unsubscribed. I get people emailing me all the time saying they didn't receive the forgot password email. It appears it's because at some point they unsubscribed. Question 1.) How do you guys go about avoiding this? Hello Invision Community! I have a quick question on some specific viewing functionality for a scenario: A user in "Member Group A" uses a Form that creates a Topic in Forum 1 Members of "Member Group B" can view and reply to this Topic and others created by members of "Member Group A" Is it possible to define this in a way so that users in "Member Group A" can only see and reply to their specific topics and not others of Member Group A? Hi! Found few bugs today(my settings in attachments): 1. I made the closed album as Member with one photo in Фалеристика category with full permissions for two users(Members). Photo(By TestElif In КМС) in it is available for them and me(as Administrator) in the block of new images: But I can't see this image and album as Administrator in category folder: I'm not sure that this is right way - I should see all content as Administrator so I guess it's a bug. At my forum you can't see who reacted to your post. It only says "Somebody reacted to your post". Even when hovering, or clicking on the reaction, doesn't give away who gave the reaction. Here, at the Invision Community, you do see who reacted. I have looked for a setting that regulate this, but couldn't find anything. Where's the setting for this? Bad: Good: Tia! /andreas 🤠

For many years I have had two paid subscription options within my community using the "Store" method as two individual products. I do not sell anything else other than the two subscriptions, so it makes sense and would be easier to use the "Subscription Plans" set up to continue with this. I see there is an option within my products area to convert my two products into subscriptions, but I am very nervous about doing so in case it causes issues. Can anyone offer advice based on completing this task themselves? Is it straight forward? Did you encounter any issues? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all! Faced the following problem: System-Posting-Images and Videos-Maximum image dimensions to display(reduced by me). Аfter rebuilding the thumbnails of the existing images, their quality get worse, not the size. There is kind of blurb in each new comment email notification, started with "Posted in " and we'd like this to be removed. I've searched across all theme templates, email templates ( there are more than 30 of them so only templates containing "comment" and / or "notification" ) and translations and the only possible match is in translations -> "email_posted_in" variable. I've asked official support guys and got "this is out of support scope type of question". So I wonder if any hint could be found with the community help. Thanks in advance!

Some weeks ago I did some changes to my DB tables. I did two things: changed some tables from MyISAM to InnoDB changed InnoDB tables format from STATIC to DYNAMIC. I followed discusions on the community to do this. Now, sometimes I get the ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT, some users of my community get it too. From my side, I noticed it affect the website only when I navigate from my home network. If I navigate the community from my office, for example, no problems at all and everything is super fast. I don't think its a network problem, but a DB one. Does anyone has an idea to fix this?

Hello, I've always use the Google Analytics tool inside the IPB settings. This adds a script to every page. I recently got a page that i don't want to get tracked by that tool. How can i get an exception made for this page? Any dev who can add a line of code so that one page won't get the script added into the <head> ? willing to pay. regards, Sander

Hi, I wanted to add headings to my board. Managed to add plugin to CKEditor (https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/format). Problem is with configuration. I added according to documentation (https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor4/latest/api/CKEDITOR_config.html#cfg-format_tags) line in CKEditor config.js but it doesn't seem to work. It still shows all headings (h1, pre, div, h5,h6 etc). I think it might be some programming issue on my end, wrong implementation etc. Can someone help me with this code? Thanks!

Hi There, I'm planning to migrate a live site to a new server due to centos upgrade. I intend to transfer live site first to new server and use it as a test url so I can further update IPS 4.5 version and see what all pitfalls I face. Just tried the test migration today and cpanel transfer tool stuck at 19% with tons of warning. What are these, please help?
