Hi I have been getting these errors in my error log files Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace. I did a bit of research it seems it could be down to the htaccess file on the installations. On a forum I am admin on we are getting a number of users just posting a link to X / Blue sky and not adding any context to what they are sharing. We are wondering if there is any way to implement a set number of letters/words in a post that contains a link. I.e. stopping people posting a link with no comment on it. Grateful for any guidance

I upgraded yesterday to the latest greatest and now every time a thread is posted to, the "Hot! "x" replies" button is displayed. I originally thought that maybe it was a plugin or app that was causing the issue so I disabled them all and when it persisted, I thought to check my other website that has none of the same apps, plugins and sure enough, it is happening there as well. I should also mention that I tried turning it off completely in the ACP, and, again, it persists. Wasn't there once a setting where you could stipulate how many posts determined whether or not it was popular?

Hi, we've just updated to the latest version and are having problems with updating the status of reports. It changes initially, but then reverts back to new report regardless of what's chosen. We've tried with all addons/themes disabled etc and have uploaded a fresh set of files, but still have the same issue, so it looks a lot like a bug.

After updating to version 4.7.19, Googlebot is causing a large number of system errors From what can be seen in the logs, it leaves a "/" at the end of the address I also applied the "Invision Community Optimization ( robots.txt )" Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating?

Very suddenly after the last upgrade all my community downloads (i.e. via the Downloads app) are dead. Upon clicking "Download File", I get a white screen simply saying: { "code": "not_found", "message": "File with such name does not exist.", "status": 404 } Nothing has changed here - all the files are hosting on Amazon S3 bucket but I'm wracking my brains as to why suddenly they're all broken? For a few days now, for reasons I don't know, I no longer receive notifications when a new user signs up. In SPAM there is nothing, email works perfectly and everything seems fine. And in the admin notifications panel everything is set correctly. What do you recommend me to check?

Hello all, Just upgraded to the latest 4.7.19 version for our community and am experiencing the classic missing index page error: We can access our AdminCP and any other forum webpage through difference means. It's only the index page that appears to have disappeared after the upgrade. Any way to resolve this or recover the index page belonging to this upgrade? Many thanks!

I recently upgraded my hosting situation (a new VPS Cloud server) and as part of this migration, I asked my hosting provider to upgrade my version of PHP so that I would be ready for future upgrades. I'm currently running PHP version 8.0.30, which is fine for the most current version of the forum software which I'm running (Version 4.17.9). Wanting to be ready for the future versions, I asked to be upgraded to version 8.1.0. They could go as high as 8.3.0, but I thought it would be best to go one step at a time. Hello! I am writing regarding an issue with opening attachments posted on our InvisionCommunity. We discovered earlier this week that when people tried to open the attachments, they instead displayed this error message: "Sorry! We could not locate the item you are trying to view." The error code is 2S328/2. To try and address the issue we tried clearing system caches, but that did not fix the problem. Hi, I am trying to update an external app (Tapatalk) but although I seem to successfully upload version 4.2.2 it continually says the version is 2.1.1. in the Dashboard and as a result no-one can see my forum on Tapatalk as it is using an out of date version.
