As soon as we can, would be the answer here. We're not that far off, but there were some changes we needed to make to ensure it's the release we want it to be, before we can get it out there. You will see something soon enough 🙂

The more likely cause of this is banning by IP if its an invision ban message they are seeing, so I would suggest checking IP bans on your site to make sure you haven't blocked a large range for example. If you are having issues, we would need an example member and their IP address to take a look. Feel free to pm me that

We have released a patch to address this issue. Please go to AdminCP > System > Support and apply the patch from the first/top left box. If you do not see an option to install the patch, you already have the latest release. Additionally, as previously noted, enabling URL Rewriting will also fix this issue.

This one has unfortunately been missed, which is unsual with this kind of thing. All we can do at this point of course is get them resolved as soon as we can.

I have taken a quick look at your site, and before we continue, you really need to take a look at your 3rd party installations. At present you have errors being logged constantly from them, so even getting to the error messages you mention here is proving difficult.
    Currently you have:
A banner at the top of the page stating you have PHP8 incompatible items present. Thos will break things, and you need to address this
36 x 3rd party applications. 16 of these are stating there are updates, so at least 16 are out of date, and there is no guarentee the others arent either. You would need to check. I would highly suggest checking and cutting back on these where you can
28 x 3rd party plugins. As with the above,  there are 3 of these showing you they are out of date at last, and it may well simply be the others dont check for updates.
You also have 3rd party themes that are showing out of date on there.
For context here, just of the 3rd party plugins & applications, there are 222 3rd party hooks, meaning 222 possible points of failure outside of the main software.

We're going to address this in a patch (likely tomorrow) with some other items but in the meantime you can go to AdminCP > Search Engine Optimisation > enable Rewrite FURLs (and follow the instructions). This will work around the issue since it's only a problem when FURLS are not used.

On the support page in your AdminCP, please follow the instructions to convert your database to utf8mb4. MySQL removed utf8_ and aliased it to utf8mb3_ which can cause issues with checking the database structure since the collation is not what is expected.

Marc Stridgen reacted to Dreadknux in Suggestion: Assign Calendar Events (or other Node Content) to Topics/Pages
Just a quick idea that popped into my head this morning - a lot of my community users rely on making new topics for everything. Whenever a new piece of news drops, or the release day of a particular product, that sort of thing. It tends to clutter my forum, and I'm thinking of ways of how to change the culture a little bit so people use the Calendar a lot more for release reminders (this was one of the reasons given when users are asked why they make potentially redundant topics; that they use the threads as a means to remind themselves that something has been released).
With that in mind, I think it would be useful if there was a functionality to assign one (or more) Events to a Topic (or Page), at the post editor level as a new field (it can work a little like database relationship, only you search for items within a different IPS app?). The resulting calendar entry could appear as an ipsBox widget above or below the first post content area, in a scrollable box similar to that of the Our Picks horizontal widget.
I think you could also do the same thing with other apps/nodes across the IPS suite (maybe have a widget listing galleries that a topic author might think is related to the subject they want to talk about? Or assign a database Page to a Topic in a forum designed for user collaboration over updates to that Page, like Wikipedia's 'talk' function?). But Calendar is what popped into my head, so Calendar is the ask. 🙂 The other apps would be cool too though.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

Thanks for the feedback. We do have robust spam management in place because a trial account is a full account which costs us a not insignificant amount of money. The trial is just for you and you have the option to convert it to a full account at the end of the trial.
I'll see if we can tweak things a little though.
