We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
We look forward to further assisting you.

While I understand what you mean there, I feel you may be thinking of this the wrong way around. We would not test updates on the software against items (nginx rewrites) that we dont provide support for. I completely understand the frustration that it no longer works for you, however those rewrites arent something in which we have written.

Please create a update to comerence where you can invoice people without them having a account on my forums. I want to handle my entire business off invisioncommunity comerence but i can't because i can't invoice people for cash transactions or who don't have a account on my forums.

ZLTRGO reacted to Ocean West in Feature Complete..
IPS when designing and planning out new feature please consider making such new features more complete by allowing bulk changes in the ACP that users may wish to change to one or more areas.
All too often new features are stored in a bitwise and there is no interface to effectuate a change en mass.
At least for areas like Forums a new feature should include automatic inherence of a setting to all children making the change to a category that will set/reset to all sub forums is by far more ideal making a change to half dozen categories then making one one at a time in over a hundred forums.
Or even if I am deep in to the settings of a forum a set of buttons  > save and go to next forum where it will save the setting and keep me on the same setting page but for the next forum in sequence.
Id also hope for some kind of discovery tool to see at a glance how a setting is set across the site.

@Matt I'd love it if you guys take a look at the bug reports in https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/504-developer-connection/ ...
I reported a lot of minor bugs myself lately (easy fixes, too) but nobody replied to the topics and I don't see them listed in the release notes, either. 🙄

ZLTRGO reacted to KT Walrus in download invoices improvement
The best way to generate server-side PDFs is to use headless Chrome to convert HTML to PDF running in a docker container.
I suggest that IPS implement and deploy an API for HTML to PDF conversion like the Spam Service and update Commerce to use this API to generate and store PDFs of invoices for download/email attachment.
Here is a link to a docker container that could be used to implement such a server-side HTML to PDF generator:
    https://hub.docker.com/r/selenium/standalone-chrome
There already may be other 3rd party web services available that Commerce could use, but I think it would be better for IPS to host the HTML to PDF service and make that service available to Commerce and app/plugin developers through an HTMLtoPDF class.

Can we enhance members tab page, so that list members can be selected ALL or Checkbox ones - to easily delete them.
For example: Under banned members or spammers - option to select and delete the members, would be very helpful.

It would be nice to have some IPS 3.4.x features back!

ZLTRGO reacted to LaCollision in Commerce: withdrawals with Stripe
    Hi Invision,
Withdrawals with PayPal are definitely an issue in Invision right now.
For them to work, it is indeed necessary that the Payouts are activated on our PayPal account.
However, these Payouts are only offered by PayPal in a handful of countries – for example not in France.
And PayPal's sales and technical support is absolutely disastrous; it is nearly impossible to reach them or get a response.
We are therefore forced to make manual payments, and it is a real hassle.
Also, would it be possible to integrate Stripe's Payouts solution?
    https://stripe.com/connect/payouts

Their implementation seems much simpler to me than PayPal's.
And since Stripe is already integrated into Invision, I think it wouldn't be a huge job!
    What do you think?
    Thank you!

ZLTRGO reacted to Gabriel Torres in Fix mentions after user changes their username
    Hi,
The platform allows the user to change their username by themselves. Howerver, mentions in posts, reviews, private messages, etcetera are kept with their old name.
This is a problem for privacy. A very common reason people are changing their username is to change their account from their real name to a nickname. However, all mentions are kept with their old (real) name, allowing them to be identified.
Due to recent privacy laws in our country (LGPD), we need to be able to fix this more easily.
Wehenever a user complains about that, we run a couple of mysql queries to manually fix the issue, but it would be great that, whenever a user changes their name, the platform itself triggered the necessary queries.
    Thanks!

Please no. Having more than one subscription causes issues because the system is designed for only one. Installing a 'mod' like this would cause more trouble than it solves.
We are aware of the limitations of the subscriptions system and it is something that we're currently working on.

ZLTRGO reacted to ptrader in In Desperate Need of the Ability to Move to Group selection after package expiration
The only option when a package expires seems to be to move the user to their previous group when a package expires.  That's great - except that the "previous group" on a new purchase is...the first group they joined.  Why can't we designate a group to move a user to once their package expires (i.e. Guest, former member, etc.) instead having to only default to the previous group?
Again, this is to automate the system better and save admin time moving people in and out of groups.  It also seems like super simple coding since that code already existings in multiple places.  The system already checks for expiry dates and moves the user somewhere - just let the admin decide in each product/subscription they create where to expire the member to.

ZLTRGO reacted to Vijbot in Upgrade To Cloud Information
I don't see this as an "upgrade". Having advertising on the software I've paid several hundreds of dollars for  not including the 6 month renewal fee it is a huge turn off.
If IPS would like to promote their hosting service that's fine, however a persistent nag whenever I'm on the ACP is egregious. Why not send me an email with an offer? Or perhaps maybe a discount since I've been such a loyal customer for over 11 years?
