Joel R got a reaction from SC36DC in Pages templates
"A different article style" by @TAMAN
I'd like to point out to any IPS representative who might read this topic that v4 has been out for one year, and yet the community has only managed to offer 1 community guide and 1 Marketplace purchase. There's clearly not enough community support or community innovation for what should be the most extensible app out of the suite, and that creates a steep learning curve for new admins who are uninitiated to Pages. I think even a handful of article block templates (like 4 - 6 different styles) can go a long ways towards helping non-technical admins put together some amazing pages.

My apologies if this question answered before, but the only that I found was a relevant suggestion.
The only that I want to "sell" are downloads. eg A global setting 100 points each download, a better case amount of points depending on the category, and with the best option amount of point to be per file. But as I said, even a global setting for all is ok for me.
Is this supported?
Thank you
Chris

You need to make sure that the expected value of your points reward is less than the points cost. For example, if it costs you 5 points for buy the Mystery Box, then you need to make the Mystery Boxes give an average of less than 5.

Joel R reacted to sadams101 in Large community? You have a problems with sitemap!
Thank you for this! I'll try the "ugly" method and report back. In my case it is very clear that something very bad happened to IPB's site map around the end of June 2017. See below if you doubt this:

You should post as a review in the Marketplace. @onlyME has great support.

I would like to share my expreience with @onlyME. I purchased this application after playing with the demo for a day while at the same time corresponding through PM's. After I purchased it, I had some configuration issues with my server that onlyMe was happy to help with. A few PM's later and I am up and running. Not only is the support for this app excellent, but the app itself has so much flexability and customization that it should cost way more. And I for one would be happy to pay it. If you are thinking about purchasing the Featured Content app, do it. You will be glad you did.

Enjoying this app immensely!
Having options to issue awrds based on:
Profile goal completions (already suggested) Calendar Videos System (posted x number of videos) Chatbox (most messages, x number of messages etc) Time related (e.g. a Night Owl badge awarded for posting after midnight?) and days of week (award for being most active on a Sunday), posts contains specific keywords (so admins could configure that mentioning the word snow 3 times gets members say a snowman themed award, creating 5 topics mentioning The Walking Dead gets you a zombie image award) etc) having no warnings gets you an award Birthdays so system will award a cake or party themed badge If you want to refer to replies, is that the posts option? Say to award a member for posting 5 replies? Topics are obvious, but the difference between content and posts is a tad confusing. Presumably one refers to comments, reviews etc and the other is forum posts and replies only?
Would be good to have an option to display the total number of an award, trophy etc issued. Eg, Awarded 186 times.
Perhaps a Showcase cabinet option would be great addition. Where (similar to Leaderboard) you could display the most won trophies, medals, newest trophies and awards, all of the available trophies, badges and awards on a page, perhaps with an option to exclude some so you still retain some mystery or surprise. So for each award, a toggle setting such as Include in Showcase? The Showcase could then say something near the bottom of the list like plus 18 mystery awards to discover,
Is there a way to use the styling options for Font Awesome like being able to specify a colour, use stackable icons, adding a count or text to create an award etc?

Many thanks.

One of the nice things about Trophies and Medals by @fosters is that it doesn't depend upon Automation Rules.
There are built-in criteria.

Absolutely, I totally understand that, a dark gaming themed site for example wouldn't have any use for bright, cute designs. The app itself seems brilliant to me, for many community sites its a must have just like an emoticon manager is.
I was able to add an award named Icebreaker (for posting a first piece of content) with a crisp Font Icon snowflake as a test in minutes. I just need to make an effort to populate it! I like the ability to explain in a fun way what the trophy means.
I also like the the page in member's profiles that acts as a showcase.
A few basic trophy designs would be great just to get admins up and running until they need to expand on a more specific style and theme for their site, but definitely an import/export feature would be the icing on the cake!

About This File
This application will list all most used tags in all applications that you have installed on your board: each application that its content item uses tags will have a tab in this resource.
Settings:
Display application icon in tabs? Number of tags to display Order listing Tag Number of uses Number of times prefixed Display tags from apps: All apps that its content items will appear as an option here. So if you don't want to show tags from Calendar, for example, just disable it in this setting Notes:
Apps tab order are defined in ACP -> System -> Applications. Basically, it will show in this resource the same app order from there. Apps icons are defined by their developer and may happen that more than one app uses the default icon. In this case, you have to request the dev to add an icon to the app.

Fosters Crew is pleased to present the newest version of Project Manager v2.2.0, our latest release of the app after many months of internal development and testing that brings it to a status for wide release. Project Manager v2.2.0 is available immediately in the IPS Marketplace for download. The newest version of Project Manager adds several features that help you follow, track, and manage your community's projects as well as consolidates the past several months of RC releases.
Email Notification
Project Manager has included an "Assign" feature from its initial release. It's now easier to learn what new issues are assigned to you, with email notifications. When you assign an issue to a user, an email is automatically sent to the user's email address as long as their notification preferences for project manager allow email.
Assign issues and tasks to users.
Receive email notification with details of the issue.
Follow Projects
Projects have always been led by Project Managers, who help oversee and manage the project from all aspects. We've added the ability for Project Managers and all other members to "follow" any project they wish, to stay updated on new issues or changes. This makes it easier than ever to keep track of important deadlines and high-priority items.
Follow Projects so you never miss a thing!
Social Media Promote
Rally your social media fans around community initiatives and spread the word of your milestones and tasks with integration with one of IPS 4's best new features: Social Media Promotion. Project Issues can now be promoted for posting on Our Picks, Facebook, and Twitter. This allows you to immediately reach your entire fanbase and tap into your impassioned followers for help and assistance on critical projects tasks.
Promote issues on your social media networks.
Several bug fixes have been rolled into the release, so we strongly recommend that all users upgrade to Project Manager v2.2.0 as a stable release. Please share your feedback and bug reports in the Support Topic and Project Tracker.

This might be doable for the app. I know some articles include tags as a meta data, so Fosters would just need to map those to the IPS 4 tags.

Hi @Fosters. Can i make a suggestion for this app? Perhaps to add a "Tags" field which connects to the IPS tags system, so each RSS feed can have its own tags?
Thanks

It was actually theme related. For the database I was using default theme and for whatever reason it was adding that top-margin.
