I took a look at the logs, and this was indeed a temporary issue while we are working on a few things. It should be fine now.

I was updating some notifications options and noticed one that doesn't work: Followed Content > Automatically follow content
The option has 2 checkboxes with an "or All / None" option below them. Clicking either of these 2 options does nothing in updating the checkboxes to automatically follow new content/replies. There's no JS error/warning logged in the browser console, it just doesn't work.

Oh, I missed that topic while searching. Yeah, it's definitely the same issue. No reply from IPS after more than a month... 🙄

I have finished converting the old plugin into an app and it only remains for me to fix some graphic finishing touches. Immediately afterwards it will be sent to the marketplace. From then on, fingers crossed... if it doesn't get approved I'll sell it outside the marketplace anyway.

You could ask these two developers who current have in the marketplace items for discord and microsoft

The latter isn't compatible with 4.6 though and you need to pick a decent developer who is active and updates to the latest releases or else you will be stuck when you come to upgrade IPS if the mod is not compatible and the author has vanished

I believe this issue is related to the amount of categories you have. I have identified where the problem is, and have submitted a fix for a future version.

Looks like it could be a memory issue. We're still looking into it now.

I've added the ability to upload maskable icons, and this should be in our March release (4.6.11)

    Hello,
This has been in the back of my mind for a while now: for the IP address information screen, do we really need a grid layout of big honkin' numerals for display name changes, reports, registrations, etc. (which in some cases extends a fair ways down the page)?  Personally, I find that because the layout is so distracting it's a bit more difficult to track down specific information (I end up looking not for the headings, but at which numbers aren't 0).
Could I suggest something a little plainer and more direct, like an alphabetised list of IP use cases followed by the number of instances?  Maybe those values which aren't 0 could be boldfaced so they stand out?
    Just a thought.  Thanks!

@Stuart Silvester I have my forum running on a 4-core VPS at v4.4 and about to cut over to a 6-core VPS at current 4.6.10.  My reason for getting stuck at 4.4 was historic (one of the then mods had customised our default template in a way that was dropped with 4.4, so we would have a look-and-feel bump.) I want to minimise actual cut-over The forum isn't that large (< ½M posts), but we are still looking at a ~1 day downtime.
My forum LAMP stack is all docker containered, so spinning it up various test rigs is easy.  I am currently trial testing on the 6coreVPS and on a 4 core Ubuntu laptop which I use as a local dev machine.
You application dashboard includes the following statement in the Background Processes pane when doing the conversion: "These processes are performed in the background in batches and may take a long time to complete. Alternatively, you can manually run them now and wait until they all complete. This wording implies that running manually will help speed the conversion, but so long as the cronjob has been correctly configured, This is terrible advice as doing so will slow down the conversion maybe 10×. It needs rewording. Even when correctly configured, the conversion process is neither CPU nor IO bound.  There seems to be some back-off time throttling within the task.php architecture.  The forum will be offline during the conversion presenting a DoS to user community, so why not do as MediaWiki does and offer a batch script so do this, for example a "run at full rate until complete" option on task.php?

No, but you can use the following resource and set a high number of post count:
Like 100,000. That means that only members in selected groups with 100,000 posts will be able to start new messages but they can receive and reply.

Not necessary. A a lot of shared hostings are running in boxed/virtual environments. For example if the kernel is running on CloudLinux with proper use of CageFS. In such case you can't affect other users on the server with your php.ini and/or any of those "dangerous" PHP functions (or, more important, the other users on the server can't affect you with those ).

Thank you for reporting your problem and for the detailed information.
We were able to see the behavior you are seeing in our logs and are deploying a fix. It only impacted a few of our network endpoints which is why it was intermittent and kind of hard to track down.

Pretty sure that's it. I think I have four licenses, maybe/probably more? I know two are just there waiting for me to do something with them and haven't been renewed in forever, others are on separate accounts but they all tie back to me in the end. I always regularly renew the one that has everything, and one organization is on more of a 9 month cycle - updates aren't critical and there is literally an approximately two month period where any/all dev and updates are pretty much off the table as stuff is not allowed to break during that time.
If it turns out the one that has to be renewed must be under the account you MP release under I might be boned - however, since Google decided to terminate all the old free Google domain email stuff the other day I have Hell in front of me for multiple organizations anyways, most of them tied to the aforementioned accounts, and if that's the case while I'm burning everything down getting all that resettled I'll just pull everything under one account regardless of the organizational nightmare it will end up being and call it a day.
BTW Esther renewed a few hours ago - her apps didn't immediately become available again, but are now, so maybe an hourly task runs that sweeps that particular MP thing.
Anyways, you no need to panic about Headstand 🙂
EDIT: Scrolls up, sees the obvious... lol
