I believe that's due to our change back to the 6-month renewal cycle, so half the old value would be correct..

That's correct, there is no native provision for members to choose their own Group or Groups, however the 3rd-party app which @opentype suggested may be an acceptable solution.

Mark H reacted to Ehren in A way to add "members only" after forum titles?
    Hi @Redmak
I do something similar on my own forums, however I show an overlay to non-customers (basically guests or regular members). If an admin or customer is viewing the site, the overlay isn't shown. I use css to achieve this, and it only involves a minor template modification on globalTemplate.
This technique can easily be adjusted to show the icon/message to members instead. To use this technique on your site, open your globalTemplate file and find:
    <html Change that to:
<html data-group-id='{expression="member.member_group_id"}' That will output the member group ID of the current visitor. We can now use something like the below code to display a message or icon next to certain forum names. This example will add a "Members only" badge next to forum #81 if the person viewing your site is in group 3 ("Members" by default):
[data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='81'] .ipsDataItem_title::after{ content: 'Members only'; font-size: 0.6em; font-weight: bold; background: rgb(var(--theme-text_light)); color: #fff; border-radius: 4px; padding: .2em .7em; margin-left: .7em; } If you're unfamiliar with CSS, you can add this badge to multiple forums by duplicating and comma separating the top line like so:
    [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='81'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='82'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='105'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='202'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='231'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='232'] .ipsDataItem_title::after{ content: 'Members only'; font-size: 0.6em; font-weight: bold; background: rgb(var(--theme-text_light)); color: #fff; border-radius: 4px; padding: .2em .7em; margin-left: .7em; } Or, if you'd rather use the padlock instead:
    [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='81'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='82'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='105'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='202'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='231'] .ipsDataItem_title::after, [data-group-id='3'] [data-forumid='232'] .ipsDataItem_title::after{ content: '🔒'; }
    Does that help?

I am 100% sure that in IPB3.x I as a moderator could move posts to another thread, but it seems impossible to do it in Invision Community.
This seems very strange, what have I missed? 🤔
Found it. You have to give moderators access in the IPB control panel.

I've split your question to a new topic.
That error suggests the setup isn't quite right.
The scopes named "manage_pages" and "publish_pages" don't seem to be set correctly.
Have you read the Permissions Reference page at that URL you linked, as well as our documentation for setting up Facebook?
Please refer to those documents to check those settings, and if you do get stuck, feel free to reply here or contact support via the client area.

If I've understood correctly what you asked, check the Calendar Settings in the ACP here:

The date format can be adjusted in the "Date format for events" setting.

Mark H reacted to AlexWebsites in New notification when content is approved in 4.6
This issue has been confirmed by IPS through a support ticket and the good news is they are working on a fix. The workaround is to re-save the content notification setting either by logging in as the user or through the ACP. One you re-save, the email notification is sent after content is approved. I've tested and used this workaround multiple times and has worked for me. For now its an extra few steps but hopefully there will be a patch or fix soon. This is important for some of my sites as it triggers the content poster to come back.

Mark H got a reaction from Sirmadsen in Add Moderators To Support Requests
What you describe will work, though unless you have a need for individual permissions, it's most easily done on a per-Group basis rather than a per-Member basis.
(And yes, with this method you will be granting them specific permissions to the ACP, not the ACP as a whole.)
Create a new Group, named however you wish, then grant that Group restricted ACP permissions on the ACP -> Members -> Staff, Administrators page.
Everyone in that Group would have the permissions you grant.
You can do it the other way, on an individual member account basis, but that's more administrative work.

    Happy Hump Day, fam!
Been receiving a lot of messages about 4.6 and Achievements. We're near the finish line (I know that's annoying to hear but we're close!).
Why the wait? We absorbed a ton of useful feedback from you and are implementing it 👏 Achievements is turning out even more epic than what we launched here a few weeks ago 😭. It'll be worth the wait (again, annoying I know, but sit tight).
Our talented team of Code Yodas™ (aka our developers) implemented some cool additions that'll make their red carpet debut in 4.6. 📸
The ones we're highlighting today are the improved appearance of Notifications Settings and Top Files reporting in the ACP. Shout-out to YouTube Short URLs being fixed as well.

    Improved appearance of Notifications Settings
You'll notice we're adding more flexibility to control what kinds of notifications show, and incorporating them with the Push notifications feature. 😍 . Thanks to @Rikki for hooking up the screen shot preview!

Most Downloaded files statistics in the ACP
And for the data junkies, we've also added statistics for the most downloaded files in the ACP. Shout-out to @Matt Finger for this implementation!

Our full list of changes made in the last week:
    - Fixed an issue where changing table filters could cause the table to be stuck in loading state due to an underlying error.
    - Fixed an issue where Stripe webhook events may fail in some circumstances.
    - Account settings will no longer prompt for re-authentication if the account does not have a way of re-authenticating. Applies mostly to custom SSO integrations.
    - Fixed an issue where Youtube Shorts URLs would not embed.
    - Fixed an issue where API requests may cause an error if referencing transactions from deleted members.
    - Improved the appearance of the Notification Settings screen.
    - Added support for converting Markdown formatted posts in Vanilla.
    - Fixed some issues when converting from Vanilla and your files used to be in S3.
    - Added statistics pertaining to the most downloaded files

Lots of exciting things going on here. What's your favorite from the list? Sound off in the comments - we'd love to hear from you!
