I had login problems. Suddenly I was logged out, I couldn't login back, reseted password didn't work. I had to login via client area, then I was logged in here back.
Did you change something in login form? Why I couldn't login here?
Same here. Reset password yet my old password worked when logging in through the client area
I sort of had a problem too. On the mobile skin I login and afterwards it keeps me on the log in screen. But at least I'm logged in.
Its known about. :smile: , and it was the same for me too. I was unable to log in until I'd reset my password. Sorry for the inconvenience.
It *wont* effect that many accounts, I think only those that had a different password a long time ago before Beyond was merged into here.
So its only accepting passwords thats associated with our client login? I tried resetting my password and it didn't work so I had to do what Lewis P did.
We were working on the login system a little bit earlier today, sorry if you were unable to log in - everything should be okay now.
We are now utilising a single sign-on set up with the client area - after logging into either, you should be automatically then logged into both.
In some circumstance, it may be that you had a different password for the client area and the forums and as such, the password you're using may not be the one the system is expecting. If you're getting an error message saying your login is incorrect - you can reset your password here:

AFAIK it will only accept the password that was present on this forum initially (for older accounts). If you had an account merge etc or suchlike then you will need to reset it. It caught me out too, I was not aware of it until I was thrown out. :smile:
I still could not log in when I tried through the forums. But once I logegd in at my client area I was logged in the forums automatically as well.

It happens to me too that I am being logged off when submitting an attachment to a PM here in IPS. I get an error msg. and have to log in again..
I couldn't realise it and also reset my password. It's ok now.
Remember me doesn't work!
Each time when I restart browser I have to log in here again and again!
Can someone tell Tech Support please. I've had a ticket open re this problem and Robotech (for one) wasn't aware of it :)
We did some work on the login system for our forums (not part of IPB - for our site specifically) today and are aware of some issues people have faced staying logged in. We are investigating those issues and hope to have everything sorted asap. Thank you for your patience in the mean time. :)

Does this affect Facebook Login? I am having trouble there...
Log in both client area and your forum do not work.
I had to reset my password. That's fine but man, trying to read the recaptcha text is hard. Took me about 4 goes to get it right.

I'm unable to login to the Client Area. I have a saved session on these forums in firefox (which I'm currently using), but I can't login to the forums if I use another browser since my password is apparently incorrect..
I tried the forgot password link, but I never received an email even after multiple attempts. I'll send an email through..

However I can't use my username to login anymore, it must be an email address.

Had to use the "Lost Password" function to get a new password.
I too just got kicked out when i went to the tracker - and I couldn't log in via Twitter or Facebook
also had to reset password for client area.
