Then there is something causing the issue .. the vcard addon works, If you want me to look at it you will need to raise a support ticket

i have installed the latest version and the hook shoutbox allows you to enter text into the box but clicking on shout, clear, refresh, smilies etc doesnt actually do anything, therefore unable to enter text

members are having to acutally open the shoutbox app in a new tab to perform entries

can you advise on whats happened please, how to fix

also, smilies are also missing now on the hook

I have problem with your application - Shoutbox 1.3.5. I can't put the sb above forum. The settings in the admin panel does not respond to commands. I've installed the Online Member Today and it is over it is SB, the categories of the forum rather than at the bottom. I rebuilt the style many times, but unfortunately did not help.

Not sure if anyone has already reported this, but position of the hook always resets to Top after each upgrade, however in settings it says Bottom.

yeah I see similar, have for long time, for me just saving settings in global shoutbox hook fixes it.

I'm having the same problem. Installed fine...looks fine...no errors.
However, on the board index, you can type into the txt box but nothing comes out when you click enter or the shout button. You have to actually go to the shoutbox app tab in order to get it to work. It's quite annoying for my members.
I've gone through the FAQ section, and nothing still works. Re-uploaded all files and redid all steps through FAQ...still nothing.
Need some help.

Sorry. I thought you know what I wanted to say.

This part adding info about number of shouts made by viewing card member, right? Right. So you can't use the $this->memberData, because this is ONLY for the logged in member, not the viewing members' card.

Yah I know I grabbed the wrong value (it is already in my Tracker) just if you are going to point out a mistake it is better to be sure that I know what you are saying, it is how confusion starts n'est pas.

Ok...new problem.
I uninstalled SB...reinstalled...
Everything went great.
Now...all the members can post from the board index and all the pages...however...admin/mods can only post from the SB tab page (we can't post from the board index - buttons do not work...you can click them but nothing happens).
Any suggestions? Willing to pay someone to take a look at this and fix it!!!!

I have done everything on the FAQ page - like i said...it works for members...just not admin/mods. Checked permissions and everything looks fine. Thanks.

downloaded updated version (unsure what's updated)...still no help with the shout button working from the board index. I've gone through all the steps in the FAQ section...any help would be appreciated.

I installed the Italian Language pack for the shoutbox stupidly thinking it would translate English into Italian. lol

How wrong was I.

Any idea how I change it back to English?

hello,

I have problem with charset in SB Tab - mysite.pl/shoutbox (on main page all was working fine). Exactly when I type polish signs (ą ę ś ł ź etc.) I have entitle in shouts just like: ą ę ś ł ź etc.

I have ISO-8859-2 charset and I disabled AJAX for text in server environment ACP TAB.

Please help me how can I fix it?
