Hi, I noticed that after upgrading to 4.4.x Photo Threads with many pages load extremely slow. Much slower than with version 4.3. In version 4.3 it took max. 1-2 seconds, in version 4.4.x much longer. my main IPB email address is getting all the kicked back emails "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" They are sent from postmaster@mysite.com but are landing in my inbox at admin@mysite.com What did I do to cause this, and how do I stop it from coming? Thank you in advance

After last weeks EPIC FAIL with a 4.4 upgrade I have decided to get a proper test site up and running. I will test fire changes there before blowing up my live site (again). Why didn't I do this in the first place you ask? Well because getting a cloned version of IPS to work is a pain in the butt. I never could get one to work, and I tried. This time I am determined. Topics created 2 days ago have 0 views, but it's incorrect value: The viewupdates task is stuck. Errors and System logs don't have any entries about this problem. I'm using Redis for caching and Elasticsearch. PHP 7.1.12 max_execution_time is 30. Also the option Use Redis to reduce MySQL overhead is enabled:

My site is hosted on Debian Stretch, partly because I like its reputation for being rock-solid. Only thing is its packages lack the newest features. For example, it doesn't have packages for PHP 7.1 or higher; only PHP 7.0. This is normally not a problem, but with Invision Community 4.4 requiring at least PHP 7.1, it's suddenly started to be one. For now, I've imported the sury.org repository as recommended by several articles, but it feels bad having to import a repository that's neither owned by the distro nor the app author. Hello. I have installed FreeBSD 11.2 i386, php 7.0, apache24. I have a problem with "email testing" I have checked at the bottom of PHP and when I'm testing I'm getting an error: IPS\Email\Outgoing\Exception: email_test_mailfunction_disabled (0) I did not install any mail server or anything. I'm green in FreeBSD. How to fix it? The system is installed in the virtualbox program. Regards.

I've got into issues recently when I have a large number of users (say about 120 with a fair whack of guests), all in a single rapidly developing thread (live discussion of a football game). I have seen the error message "MySQL Server Has Gone Away", although sometimes the page just fails to load and I get a timeout. Other users have noticed it as well. My VPS host has told me I'm hitting memory limit. They gave me another 1gb for free (we have a cpanel VPS with I believe 5gb of ram now). Does this seem like an issue that matches the symptoms? Is there anything that can be done to diagnose and/or fix the issue? Thanks.

I'm running a dedicated server of CentOS with cPanel and have MySQL 5.6 working perfectly for 1 year or so. I got a message from cpanel to upgrade 5.6 to 5.7 while upgrading I got an option to upgrade to MariaDB 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 (recommended) Can I upgrade MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.3? If I upgrade MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.3 is there any issue with IPB database, as on this server I only have 1 IPB site? If no issue, then any performance gains are there to switch to MariaDB or shall I just stick to 5.7 and move on? P.S. My IPB database has a majority of the table of MyISAM and 10% InnoDB is there any format conversion required if I switch to Mari…

Does anyone know how to do the disable the PHP Functions ? I'm using Godaddy and we are on a VPS the WHM/CPanel I've looked on the internet and i cant find anything that shows you how its done. Everything was ok on our old business package with Godaddy but we didnt have full control of the Mod security, so we was told the the only way was to use a VPS and then import C/panel and the forum in one hit. Hi! I just changed my storage settings for my "Downloads", IPB4 now says "this setting can not be changed as there is a move in progress" so it seems fine, files should be moving like crazy right? But only a couple of files has moved so far, and i cannot see any progress in the new folder, it's size has been the same for the last 30 minutes or so and HDD activity is "normal". Is there any trouble or why isn't it moving all the files as quick as possible? Any ideas somebody?

Currently we use IPBoard 3.2.2. Hopefully upgrading to the latest version! The one thing that is holding us back is that currently the members of our 3.2.2 forum can login to our main (separate) website member area using their IPBoard username/password. I have been told that once we upgrade IPBoard to the latest version, that login data is different and so that system may get "broken". Can anyone confirm that, and perhaps indicate what might need adjusting to fix it (on our "other website" member area)? (And if that is a simple fix or something more complex etc). Hi, We are using IPB 4.3.6 with redis and elastic search. We have multiple servers: one for LoadBalancing and redis, 4 for php, one for Mysql and one for elastic. We have issues with ram consumpion and swaping the redis server. We have 4 gb ram dedicated for redis, on this server we have 8gb in total. Generally at night it statred to use more and more memory. What is wrong? How we can optimize it? Any ideas how You have configured redis server?

I transferred my site over to a new server. Centos 7 with nginx. https://gyazo.com/174973b095adcde2ecdc10c7728df816 I see this error when I go to the rest api section in the admin cp. Yes, I've updated the .htaccess multiple times. This worked fine on my other server, and i scp'd everything over so I don't think much as changed other then apache to nginx. Also the owner of the .htaccess is the same as the rest of the files. Any ideas on why so much wasted memory? I've allocated 512mb to Opcache. Wasted memory continually climbs until OPcache resets. It's a never ending cycle and I'm wondering whether this is normal behavior?
