Andrew Tsai Posted July 23, 2019 Share Posted July 23, 2019 I would like to upload approximately 400 files to my IP Board. Each file needs its own Downloads record entry. Joy Rex Posted July 23, 2019 Share Posted July 23, 2019 I too have wondered about if this is possible - or could you have a script that scans a folder and writes the entries into the tables related to Downloads? Of course, that wouldn't solve your metadata problem (all the other stuff that goes with each download) You'd have to do a second pass where the filename would be the key to insert the metadata Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Joel R Posted July 23, 2019 Share Posted July 23, 2019 Allow multiple uploads - this is a group permission that will allow you (or other users in a group of your choice) to upload multiple files and create multiple new download records.
