At this time, posts are displayed like "3 hours ago" or if longer ago like "February 26" or in my case "12 mei 2018" (translated). I would like to have the older post like "12-05-2018" or "12-05-18". Is there a way I can configure this? I only found an option "date format for events" which I could change, but that does not change the dates of postings.

I know you can set up advertising via banner, block or skyscraper and offer packages that auto renew every "X" number of days, weeks or yearly... There is also an option to show banners and limit the "Ad Packages" by impressions... such as 25,000 impressions or 100,000 impressions regardless of time. The advertiser only pays for actual views, regardless how long it takes to show them... (this can be good AND bad, depending on your traffic) Can I set up "Auto Renewal" billing once advertisement "impression" level is reached? Thanks in advance, Joel

Hi I have just upgraded to 4.4, however, receive and error every so often. I am still trying to work out what triggers the error as it doesn't happen all the time. Is there any documentation on template logic which can/cannot be used in pages (manual HTML)? using {template="userPhoto" app="core" group="global" params="$member->author(), 'tiny', $member->warningRef()"} which automatically throws errors author() using expressions will also throws errors. The only thing I found is using {member="name"} It would be nice if we could actually use {template =""} logic in pages.

Is there a way to move users to certain user groups, depending on their activity rate? What i am looking for is something like "has been active 5 of 7 days of a week" or/and "has been active 20 days out of the last 30 days". I am not sure how the suite registers log ins, if the browser keeps the user logged in, but i'd say that visiting the site, should count as marking that user active. But any advice ideas would be great here! Trying to figure out an idea that i have been thinking of

After upgrading the IPS 4.4.0 and making changes based on its new features, I was inundated with complaints of slow loading images and grey placeholders persisting for anything up to 10 seconds. It turns out that there's nothing wrong with IPS 4.4.0 or my hosting, but that by changing this to only serve insecure images via my server meant my members got to experience true load times of their image hosting services, such as Flickr, Dropbox, etc. Changing this back to 'All Images' solves the issue completely. Hi, when I mention a user in the forum by @Member, the resulting blue box in the final post still contains the @-sign. Is it possible to hide the @-sign in the final post? This would improve the flow of reading. Kind regards, Stefan

Hello, I'll be upgrading to 4.4 this weekend, but thought that I might as well upgrade my database as well beforehand. I'm currently running IPS 4.3 on MariaDB 10.2.22, which should provide equivalency to mySQL 5.7x, but thought it best to upgrade to the latest stable version of MariaDB (10.3.13). Anyone else running 4.x on 10.3.13? If so, I'm assuming there are no issues but if you've had any I'd like to hear about them before upgrading. Thanks!

what exactly won't function correctly? If Stripe is only used as a means to collect card payments Stripe says it's optional to have a webhook even though IPB requires it on their side. So it could be setup and then deleted on the stripe side after it's saved in the IPB ACP. What will happen?

Hello. I want to migrate my SMF forum to Invision board. I do use a sitemap on the SMF forum. If possible I would like to keep my position in the earch engines as good as possible, because it's not that much already. 🙂 At this moment my smf is in https://www.domain.com/forum My Invision Community will be put in the root of the public_html so https://www.domain.com and as far as I've seen the forum will still have https://www.domain.com/forum (or forums?) in a virtual (not physical) way. Hi everyone, Currently we have a generic Profile Field where users can nominate their own favourite fictional characters. I would like to take this to the next level by getting members to choose from a predefined list of characters. Looking at 4guides it looks like Pages Databases might be a good candidate for this? I can't see a sign that the Help Guide has been edited. Is there a way to add buttons into the text that i type in through the editor? I'd like to use the same CSS as the buttons on the rest of the site to maintain the same style, hover effects etc Any tips on how i can do this? On Wordpress, that i am used to, there is a shortcode to insert buttons. Is there a similar feature here, or whould i need to type in the HTML of a button, and how would i get hold of that?

I am setting up our non-profit's new forum and am having difficulty getting the name of the forum to show up in the header when I upload our logo. If I don't upload the logo, the name shows up just fine but I want to have both in the header. I have even shortened the site name and resized the logo to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I recently just finished installing the software and when I attempt to login to my admin panel, it fails to login not giving any error. If you input the wrong username/password it will say that but if you successfully login then nothing happens and it refreshes. Any advice?
