I have set up a block for a page, that shows the latest blog posts. It works great, but only the title is clickable. Is there a way to expand this so that the featured image also leads to the post if clicked on?

Hi, back in the heyday I had many variations of my forum logo to commemorate certain holidays. for example. x-mas like logo shown during december to x-mas. new year like logo for first 2 week of new year. logo with easter eggs leading up to the easter and so on. I had like 12 logo variations done. but the problem was I was forgetful and barely made any use of that. like only winter logos and thats that. I wonder is there a simple way now to upload a handful of logos and set the time when each of them should be shown and if there's no holiday - then usual logo is shown?

On my site I have files in my downloads app that were setup to have a renewal even though they should not have. I don’t want any of my files to have renewals. I edited the files to turn off renewals but folks who were already being charged renewals are still being charged renewals. I don’t want them to continue to be charged, how do I stop it? Whats worse is that my test site is ALSO charging folks renewals automatically even with commerce disabled. It’s a disaster. Many folks feeling burned and ripped off (understandably) Can someone help me write an sql query to cancel all existing files renewals please Thank you in advance

I have setup a guest sign up block that should display on this page, but i can't see it, even when i am logged off or visit the site on a private browser tab. Can you see it when you visit it? The form should be right where i have highlighted with a yellow marker

It's really a question of one of our moderators and a couple of users. From other software (SMF, Phpbb, vBulletin) they are used when creating a new thread/post, the can type in the title, then use the TAB button and they are right in the message box where they can type their post. I don't know where the TAB is going with Invision, but nowhere near the message box in any case. I know they can use their mouse, to click once, but tab is a lot easier/faster. This is not working with IPS, why not? But the real question is, is the only way to achieve this using the mouse? Or is there another short key (or combo) to get from the title to the messagebox when …

I am trying to set up a block that will list blog posts, but instead of specifying what authors to list, i want to specify what authors it should not include. So basically i am trying to make a block that will exclude certain authors. Is this possible here?

I just had a poster post a Giphy GIF file in a forum comment. GIFs are not an allowed file type and the Giphy Community Enhancement is not enabled - so how are they still able to do this? On latest version of IPS. BUG?

I was about to create a new custom CSS file when I noticed it's possible to create an app-specific one which, I imagine, will only run when the page being loaded is a particular app: And there it is, complete with a couple of bits of CSS just to test it: But once I go to Downloads, nothing has changed. And when I look at the source code, I find that there isn't a separate custom file created from this CSS file, and nor has it been compiled within the normal custom.css file. Am I using it as intended and it's just not working? If not, how is this feature of creating app-specific CSS files in the ACP supposed to work?

I want to style my custom fields on a product like the post below talks about doing with Pages, but the eCommerce fields seem less flexible. Is there a way to query product custom fields from a PHP block/widget on a product page? Edit - seems I didn't understand how product custom fields work, they are for collecting data not displaying... Is there anything like the below for products, custom data per product that I can display in a widget?

IPS has a button "unread content" but that shows all unread content. A lot of users do want the option to only show the unread content since last visit, so only really new posts. This can be achieved by adding a custom timeline to the activity stream, but that is a bit unwieldy and every users would have to do this. I can't imagine that Invision does not have an easyer option for this anymore. I know it had in the past because I found something about it in an old topic. Where can this option be found in Invision 4.4.2? Or even better, is there a way I can create a custom buttom for example to be used as button or block in the main page, so every user c…

When I upgraded from vBulletin to Invision Community a series of old ranks came with user profiles. It means I have two series of ranks running, when I just want the existing ranks in Invision to remain. I spoke to support who said there's no official way of removing old ranks from people's profiles, but there could be a way running a query on the database. Can anyone assist? I'm trying to set up the facebook intergration, and need to submit the special features for review. My question is, how do i make a video of me showing how i promote content, if the feature isn't yet active, because i need to make a video of it? Edit 1: what is manage_pages permision needed for, and how do i describe to facebook how uses whould use this? Edit 2: also how do i describe what the person reviewing the app needs to do to experience this, when they need to have the right permissions to do it?

Right above a members total account credit in their ACP it says in small print "Revenue, 12 months to date" What exactly happens to their earned credit if it's stored in the account longer than 12 months? Does the contributor lose it? Seems like account credit is a number that should be a total of all time not just 12 months. This scares me a little.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to get the grant type Authorization Code working? Attached is a screen shot? I was supposed to see a login screen to enter credentials so it can fire back the redirect url to ask for an access token in the next step but never got one. Has anyone already tried this type of grant type? Note while the grant type Resource Owner Password Credentials works like a charm programmatically but I want the bring the user to the IPS login screen and ask him/her to authorize? I had made sure that the redirect on the IPS Oauth 2 matches with the one I had configured in the client! But for now, I am not at that step yet …

Hey everyone I have been trying to convert a vanilla forums to Invision using the Conversion tool. The conversion process seems to go fine, with the progress bar showing what it is supposedly importing and I receive no messages to suggest there is a problem. All the members, forums, topics and first posts have been converted correctly - but absolutely none of the 100,000+ comments have been converted. I have looked in: applications/convert/sources/Software/Forums/Vanilla.php and found the function convertForumsPosts2() which looks like it is responsible for the conversion of vanilla comments to invision posts but I can not see any errors or obvious…
