When I logged into my account today in order to download the current IP.Board package, the site just said "Sorry, but you do not have access to any of the functions in our Download Manager". In addition, the links provided under that error message (contact us and bug tracker) both did not work. Also, all of my tickets and profile information (e.g. address) seem to be entirely gone. What is going on? Is anybody else experiencing this?

Here's a few of my initial thoughts on IPB 3.1 - I've rated them too, 1-10, with 10 being things I consider most important. Overall I think it's a great update :thumbsup: just a few things that need addressing imo.. Notifications 10 These are a really nice addition :) but I think they need a little work or they are quickly going to become extremely annoying for users. Notification content I think whenever possible, the (popup) notification itself should contain the info needed, not a link to another notification which contains a link to get to where you want (or sometimes no link either just info, and no way to 'reply' too). The only place that a guest is shown a Facebook Connect option, is on the registration page. This is great for people who already are planning on registering, but what about the people who are reading a topic, looking at a blog, looking in the Gallery......and have no plans on being hassled with creating an account to post a comment? Many sites I go to, I just lurk and have no time to be bothered with signing up.....but if I see a Facebook Connect button.....I am willing to spend the 3 seconds to hit it.....and then post my reply. would it better to show reputation point more obvious such as this mod? http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/2388-t30-show-reputation-in-topic-view-101/ reputation could be as important as it is to sellers on ebay, why hide it deep. People wish to see others' reputation to judge credibility and even gender is on topic view , reputation is more important?

In the new version you have to click an extra time to make a forum jump. For example if I am in this forum and go to the bottom to jump to another one you have to click the forum and then click go. In the old version you just clicked the forum you wanted to jump to and went there without clicking go. Just my 2 cents :) Kay

index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=members&area=mod_ipaddress&do=custom Currently, if you check IP as moderator, IPB gives you a link to Nic.com where you have to manually copy paste that ip. Suggestion, change that to RIPE, where you can put that ip directly to that link so you dont need to copypaste. So IPB would show link "Check IP ****" and when you click that, it would take you to http://www.db.ripe.net/whois?form_type=simple&full_query_string=&searchtext=94.251.244.241

Why are chat and forum blocks seperate? Why not just use the one IPB Blocked User List? If I block someone on the forum, odds are I want them blocked in the chatroom, no?

There are already sorting options for viewing a thread with posts with X amount of points etc, however I feel it is missing the most important one, sort posts by number of points - so the most recommended posts are shown after the first post in descending order. This way someone can quickly find the 'best answer' to whatever was asked in the first post.

As far as I know, the bad word filters only work for the posts. I don't want to deny the use of signatures for everyone just because a few users have inappropriate language or links in their signatures. Thanks!

As the title says why does the "Click to attach files" button need pressing twice to do anything? I've noticed this occurs here and at my site where we both allow the Flash file uploader to be used. Pressing it once in most cases does nothing except you get a message saying "Transferring data from yoursite.com" on the bottom status bar and nothing ever happens. You have to press a second time to bring up the file manager. Anyone else notice this? Bug perhaps? I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6. Thanks 3DKiwi

I can't imagine this would be too difficult to achieve, but I'd like there to be an option to style usernames (using their group prefix and suffix) forum-wide instead of just the few areas they are currently styled. To my knowledge, no modifications exist to easily do this.

i am a member on a forum that uses ip board for hosting when i open the forum i can see the forums home page when i log in all i get is a blank page i can view all the members only topics when im logged in when the administrator changed my status on the forum to administrator i could see the ip board but could not use any links to go into the the forum or the ip board features i am the only member on the forum having this problem what suggestions can i give to administrators to try and fix this this only happened after the forum was moved to a new server if this is posted in the wrong forum please excuse it as my it skills is 2 %

Very nice and Saves A L O T of time One thing though the contrast i see u either give it 0 or 1 as values in the link ... can we choose the % of the contrast? instead for being 0 - 1 can it be something like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 degrees / percents of contrast ? just like how we can control text colors where 9 = 100% contrast 1 = 10% contrast my 1st attempt :P might be too bright for most ppl but i like veryyyyy light skins

I think it would be useful to pass $type to classes that extend the admin group form, so that they can know whether it's a new group vs an edit to an existing group. This is a simple change to line 857 of admin/applications/members/modules_admin/groups/groups.php... $data = $_object->getDisplayContent( $group, $tabsUsed ); to $data = $_object->getDisplayContent( $group, $tabsUsed, $type );

Hello, i am just curious, why you don't add an option to automaticaly generate sitemap for forum. It would be a large step in SEO optimization for forums, also it would speed up forum indexation. Also i am interested, why you guys doesn't provide an robots.txt, which would block dublicate content, and things which would be no reason to index? And finally, why don't you rewrite all urls in friendly style, if i have checked option for Friendly Style in ACP? P.S. I am sorry for my grammar.
