Hello, It is good that IPB have share function, but when someone whants to share something, he/she can not share only post, he/she sharing whole topic, for exalmple, i want to share a video, but this video post is in the middle of other lots of posts, if I share, it will be shared whole topic and no one can understan what i wanted to share them, please think about it, make functions to share posts and not hole topic Regards, Beqa

I think the new view new content (VNC) is a major improvement on the old version but it still doesn't appear to work properly for me. The option I use is 'new since my last visit' but despite several visits today, VNC is still showing posts all the way back to yesterday. This is despite closing down the browser between visits. The only way I can get it to work properly is to log out and log in again. Is this a bug or a limitation of the VNC? browser: FF 4.0.1

Is there a list of smiley short-codes in 3.2? A page displaying them all (like vB has)? I ask because the current smiley rows don't indiciate the smiley short-code like the 3.1.4 side panel, and I, for one, use the short-codes all the time for the common smileys. Once 3.2 is up on my site members will lose the ability to learn the shortcodes. Are they still a "work in progress"? Maybe the short-code could display when you mouse-over? Cheers, Shaun :D

Titles in main menu like Forums, Members, Blogs etc could be stronger than now. Those white words are almost lost on that blue background, aren't?

I think it would be a useful addition if new users got a 'How to use this' popup box, or a 'new features' box depending on if it was the first time they have used the site, or if the version has been updated recently. If they click on the link then they get directed to a tutorial page explaining how things work (The gallery springs to mind), or if updated, where things have moved too. The box should have an X to close it once they have worked out how to use the blog/calendar/gallery.. etc.. I think this would help a lot when we update our websites to new versions, or if we are moving over a userbase to IPS products as it can be a big change for many users!

I've had a bit of feedback raving on how wonderful IPB is for mobile devices, complimenting ease of browsing and accessibility. Thought I should pass that along to the wonderful designers here that work so hard to create an outstanding product! :)

The "View New Content" page is a great overview page about what is going on. Would it be possible to set this page as a start page with the following parameters: Content type by forums, By time period past 24 hours? Would it make sense to set this search page as forum home or would it eat up too much server resources?

We are getting all these announcements about product "improvements" and still no mention of a tags system. Tags have been asked for numerous times by many members and really should be a standard feature in a modern piece of software like this. Are we going to get tags in the next 6 months?

Can you please NAME & VERSION STAMP or DATE STAMP the folders of the board & other modules before you zip them. when I download the Boards i get a zipped file but the browser decompress it and i end up with a folder called: - board after i down load the other items like gallery / blog etc. they all download / decompress and now i have board-2, board-3 ,etc. inside that folder is a folder in each called upload. Its tedious to have to rename. If the zipped file had things named first like board_3.1.2 / blog_3.2.2 it would make life easier.

The Manage Forums should have a "Clone Forum" option so when creating a new forum you don't have to go through all the options, this can be very tedious work when your making quiet a few new forums. Surprise to see that even after the huge amount of request for the clone forum option for Manage Forums in the 3.2 beta forum it still wasn't added.

Hi guys, 3.2 offers a great improvement over the previous feeds. Social sites who use IPB as their core, would benefit from a more Facebook-esque feed. ATM posting on friends walls, doesn't parse the bbcode for example. So users can't post pictures, video's or anything but text on one another's walls. I realise there is likely a hook or we could create one, but it would be nice for it to work out of the box. Even if it were configurable, for those who want a more simplistic wall. Though IMO users should always be able to decide how they use the wall, vs being restricted by the webmaster. Thanks, Paul

There is something strange in personal profiles. ...in the old 3.1 the personal data (Member Title, Age, Birthday, Gender, Location, etc. etc. ) were separated by a "My Information" bar from the statis ( Group, Active Posts, Profile Views) : see here http://invisionfocus.../user/4-jekyll/ In the new ipb 3.2 in the personal data are written directly in the "Community Stats" and that do not make much sense both from a linguistic and a logical point of view. http://community.inv...4840-dr-jekyll/ I think it would be better if: a) add also a bar that says "My Information" to separates "My Infomation" from "Community Stats"; b) change "community stats" in "My Inform…

IPB Community, Alright I recently read through this topic: What do you think of 3.2? and I decided to create a new topic; not to start another debate.However I felt it important that it needed it's own topic to voice some issues I saw in that topic. New Default Skin I have read many complaints about the new skin as well as people and staff defending IP Staff's decision in the choice they made with the new look. Hi- I think there should be a choice between a Hosted and Self hosted IP.Chat. Different people have different servers and different needs. For one, I need my user limit removed and the guest chat block removed (guest chat is extremely important to my site, as potential users usually ask existing members about their experiences on the site before actually registering and so i must provide this ability). I've been told that IP.Chat is hosted because most servers can't handle AJAX chat. Well, you have here one of the few exceptions :smile: Regards MapleFanatic

I have email subscriptions for all of my downloads support topics, and I've not gotten any emails notifying me about new replies for a while, at least since yesterday. Same with email notifications for new personal messages. As I've not seen any mention of this issue, I wanted to post and make sure you were aware.

Currently, nofollow applies to all links. I understand in 3.2 that may be changed to allow internal links to be whitelisted. I'd also like to see the option to whitelist by usergroup. There are usegroups I trust to post quality, relevant external links. Allowing them to do so will benefit both the sites they are linking to, and according to Google the site they are linked from.

Is there any chance a topic's prefix could be added to the Recent Topics sidebar hook? The prefix is displayed almost everywhere else the topic link shows up--but not on the sidebar.
