Hello, I´d like to know if there is a way to ignore entire threads by hiding them. In every forum I find several threads, that I´m not interested in, or threads that some people create which contains spam and there are bumped again and again, so I´m interested in hiding those threads. Is there an option to the users of the forum to hide those threads? The option of ignore users is good too, however ignore threads would be great, since the users can focus on just the topics they are interested in. Thanks and regards

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm fed up with having to chase myself around my own forum trying to figure out what's been posted and where. IPDownloads, despite asking for it some time ago, still doesn't have any subscription options for comments, and I know we should really be looking at a seperate vote for them, but subscription options are closely related to notifications anyway. Please vote here if you would like to see notification defaults introduced for existing members in the same way it's already present for new members. There could even be an option available in the users CP that they would be able to manually select preventing admins from changing the…

I think IBP desperately needs an easy way to create custom navigation tabs from the ACP... it is far too difficult going through the skin and also editing the code that makes tabs appear "active" when clicked... custom tabs should be easy to create on IBP. They also should allow re-ordering any tab (right now, you can't re-order ips add-ons ahead of root applications, etc).

I think that all error messages should be easily customizable and there should be more parameters to define when certain error messages do or do not appear. For example, there should be the option to define custom error messages that appear when certain user groups are prohibited from entering certain applications.

I'm not really a fan of the naming of this feature. I realize that it's a simple phrase in ACP to edit but I still wanted to start a discussion about it and see what others think. The problem, as I see it, is that content that has been deleted shouldn't be viewed as "hidden", it should be viewed as "deleted" - even if the content is in fact only hidden(e.g. soft-deleted or "deleted in-line"). Having it say that content is hidden decreases the severity of it and it almost feels like a feature that regular members would have access to. So what could be a more suitable name? I don't know. Now, I must say, the best feature added to IP.SEO thus far has been the Live Meta Tag editor. Let's admit, the automatic meta tags created by IPB creates crap, but not totally their fault. Mainly the users posting and the admins for putting in bad descriptions for each forum (aiming it towards users reading it rather than bots reading it). Anyways, enough of praising the great feature, I think there should be one added to forum settings which would include the options when creating forums as well. Have extra fields that you can add like the Live Meta Tag editor so you can add the proper meta description and keywords right as you are creating the forum or even editing…

So, I am an admin or moderator. I want to warn a member who made a bad post. This is what I see: I think it would be a million times clearer if we had an "Alter Warning Points" button so you can automatically say: "Yes this is where I need to click to change warning points"

These are two sugesstions that would do good for us here and in other places probably. Allow the admin to set a time limit (grace time) on when a user can edit their "Issue". Have it so when you preview an issue it doesn't go back to the defualt selection in version ( as here when you preview the issue it goes back from 3.3.0 Beta 1 to 3.2.3 and I didn't realize :'( )

Hi! I would expect that search elements in advanced search page, would work together and not against each other. It seems that you cannot search with words AND tags at the same time. This creates a big problem to me at least. My thinking: Forums are by definition a basket of information. Moderators and usefull tools that board software provides, should ease the task of finding info. Because this is what is all about now and the future , the information quality and management. When I search for some text via the ACP member search, such as "xyz", it returns users that contain "xyz" in their display name or email address, but a user with the exact display name of "xyz", which is what a search is likely to be for, could turn up anywhere among multiple pages of results. This problem could be solved if a member search acted as it now did, EXCEPT that any user with a display name that matches the search text exactly is returned first. Hey Guys, I'm not sure if i'm missing something , there is Month, Day, and Week, but no Basic List Events View for the calendar? It seems like such a basic feature, but i can't find it anywhere? -(same as google calendars "agenda" view - which is what i use most of the time when i use google)... Being an admin myself I am visiting this forum almost daily searching for news and important updates relevant to my communities. I have noticed that my daily routine is always the same and looks like this: In 99% of cases I click on my username (in the top black zone) and then I click o n the Content I Follow. Only exceptionally I click on: My username - My Content. And that's it. I never click on 'View New Content' nor the little 'droplet' icon next to it. Is it only me?
