Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted June 8, 201014 yr I think IBP desperately needs an easy way to create custom navigation tabs from the ACP... it is far too difficult going through the skin and also editing the code that makes tabs appear "active" when clicked... custom tabs should be easy to create on IBP. They also should allow re-ordering any tab (right now, you can't re-order ips add-ons ahead of root applications, etc).
January 7, 201114 yr I would very much like to see this added. It's a very important core feature that has been omitted. The tabs are the primary form of navigation, yet there is no easy way to create additional tabs that function like the others.
January 7, 201114 yr First they need to move search bar somewhere so there is more room for tabs. If you have all apps from IPB and 1 or 2 custom mod's, you will run out of space on primary tabs.
January 7, 201114 yr Add vote. I agree, you shouldn't have to edit skins to add and remove navigation tab links. 3DKiwi
January 7, 201114 yr if they were using jQuery this would be very simple to achieve... there i said it :P.
November 30, 201113 yr its such bullfaeces you cant do this, makes my website look aweful not having the home tab on the left :(
November 30, 201113 yr its such bullfaeces you cant do this, makes my website look aweful not having the home tab on the left :( If you use the website name/website URL settings in IP.Board, the home tab will be on the left.
November 30, 201113 yr You can use a 3rd party menu system: fusion menu, but it costs I would like to see something like THIS with ability to do all the customisation through the ACP, either by IPS or a 3rd party modder :)
December 4, 201113 yr Totally agree, with all that now comes with ipc getting around the site isn't good. I think IPC is the main problem as you can add so much now, articles, custom DBs etc
